Or put it on mogstation for maximum profit.I'm afraid it will be like the last one; it will come late, expensive and worse than the other regions.
What will it be? Buy drinks at Bar that is far from everyone? Limited printed magazines?
Let's hope SE learned from the last big mistake. We have Amazon.es, .fr, .co.uk and so on... I think it's easier to just do it with Amazon than making different chaotic campaigns.

Honestly, even if they do make it a physical thing, at least make it a large nationwide campaign. Have a campaign with GAME (pokemon do it all the time for their events), HMV or other large store chains (and extend it to their online store as well). It doesn't have to be amazon, but it does need to be a service that is widely accessible.
So the logical conclusion here is that we should generate as much negative publicity as possible or they'll keep doing it, right? Anyone have any connections with the gaming press? Perhaps we could write some reviews about how we feel?
Seriously S-E Europe, please tell us what's going on. Even logging out and visiting General gives a neverending parade of insulting threads about how NA account holders are using their new items now. It's demoralising as heck. You cannot run a worldwide gaming service this way and expect people to find it acceptable, especially after the mess of the previous 'EU' campaign. Region locking the codes then failing to serve the other regions after what happened last time is just begging for people to feel shortchanged.

It is most definitely demoralising. Aside from the threads on this forum related to people showing off their new acquisitions there's a lot of people running around with them in-game. It's the same with the FF14 Reddit. Meanwhile, some of us have been checking this thread daily since the last promotion desperately trying to get the attention of someone who can alleviate our concerns and let us know where we stand. We've had nothing but silence and even the initial official responses to this thread seemed to completely miss the point of the very valid complains being raised.
Again, I sincerely hope that the European campaign(s) are more easily accessible and much less contrived and/or obscure than the initial batch. I also hope that we have a fair chance to obtain every promotion item as a lot of us missed out on everything the last time around and it is going to be disheartening if we can only pick one batch of items as a reward.

Yeah, I would buy 50 quid worth of stuff to get the butler suit, not interested much in the rest of the things. Anyway, I do agree wholeheartedly with every word you wrote and hope that they will listen to us this time. I wish I could like your post 10 more times. It is most definitely demoralising...

As someone with an EU account who did manage to get the full set of items last time, I would like to officially state that I support them being made available for the EU region again (as they have been in Japan) and do not want to feel special having something other people were unable to get through no fault of their own. Please S-E, do the right thing.

Hello
There's been a lot of talk regarding the North American and Japanese promotional campaigns. We are working to setup campaigns in PAL regions with the new in-game items. They will also be available for purchase on the Mog Station at a later date. We will share more information as soon as it becomes available.
Please note that the North American and Japanese item codes won’t work on EU accounts.

I'd just like to express my immense gratitude. Thank you for the update - it definitely alleviates all of my own concerns and I am fairly certain it will be the same for many other people as well! I'm very pleased that they'll be available on the Mog Station later on as that means that anyone who misses the campaign still has a fair chance of obtaining them.Hello
