poll is skewed by the loads of people who havent even touched lancer who are anti-wyvern.

Odd that I've been on both sides of popular debate and I still find aggravation at both sides.
If you can't handle that your ideal is unpopular, then don't play MMOs. Don't try to excuse it based off the ideal that only 'real Dragoons' want a Wyvern. That's a loser's logic (also known as sour grapes). Just because your ideal is different than others, dosen't make it more correct, or you more beholden to a job than to others.

The content is for EVERYONE. Even those who may or may not choose to 'main' the job you're speaking of.

Just because your idea is unpopular doesn't automatically disqualify the popular opinion for whatever excuse you'd like to imagine up at the time. The majority of players don't want Dragoon to be tied to a Wyvern as part of its mechanic. Instead of trying to disqualify that fact, perhaps you should start looking for alternative solutions that would satisfy both camps.

There are other ways of making Dragoon unique in it's own right, than to have a little pet always flying around it.
