FFlogs itself is in no way a program that touches the game or changes game files and therefore does not cover any issues with being a 3rd party. 2nd of all the user never mentioned using ff logs and 3rd he didn't belittle you, he used it as proof against what you said yourself.

Duality makes only sense if its used for AE because of the potency. If you like it or not.

In a perfect world yes. but often duality armor crush is a better option.

the game as it stands today revolves around speed run all the things every extra second is a lifetime.

in my experience the direct result of that is there's rarely any stops
random dungeon for example. you've killed a trash pull gone running into the boss and tank pulls straight away you've got maybe 20 seconds on huton.. this happens quite a lot in my experience.

2 options.

1 cast huton to refresh it. and use kassatsu to do suiton get your de+ trick attack up and duality aeloian edge. (which I also end up doing in boss fights where tanks use 10 second countdowns </3)
2. cast suiton get your de + trick attack up use duality with armor crush and use your kassatsu to put out raiton.. (23 second boss countdowns)

2 is the best choice. because yes you lose 80 potency using armor crush instead of Aeolian but you gain a ration which is 360 potency. so you're actually gaining 280 potency. even if you kassatsu a fuma shurikan you're still gaining 160 potency over using duality with Aeolian edge and having to use mudras on huton.

Macros on weaponskills is a dps loss, your next gcd will clip and especially for ninja, that's gonna mean all of your ogcd timing and mudras are going to be misaligned. Please don't tell people that using them on GCDs is fine, it is not.

Well even in a not perfect world you could use AC before, but this is a rare situation.

I'd say the best use of Duality is to use it during a burst phase, especially if you can time it to combo into a Trick Attack vuln proc with buffs like Internal Release and Blood for Blood. The second strike can't crit, but the additional damage is always good.
