They were given in a Twitch message.

The Japanese Stream was handled by Niconico, and those codes were sent to the e-mail your Niconico account was set up with.

Will the mystery glamour outfit be available via stream as well? The moogle outfit was before so I'm expecting it to be the case again. Just wanting verification.

I wasn't given a presale code, most probably because I started FF XIV (1.0!!) on an EU account. So.... thank goodness I got a code from a fellow FC mate who plays on a US account...
so I will be travelling half the world (no kidding) to attend the Vegas FanFest! (as well as treating myself to a well-deserved holiday )

They even sent out a notice saying to contact them several days ago if you hadn't gotten one by then.

you can't really be mad about it (well you can i understand), but you had a whole week for it. it's even posted on their twitter too :c

Had numerous bad things happen outside of the game, so I wasn't around much during that week. Another big thing happened the Monday right before tickets went on sale and I was mentally out of it for the rest of the day. Was not a good week. (this included helping with sick toddler, family member becoming homeless and later revealing continued mental instability and relationship with bad, abusive person who caused all of this to happen).

On my side, it didn't help that my SE account is attached to a side email account I never check, and I don't use Twitter.

So yes - my bad for not being more on top of it. However, it is also their bad for not sending me a code, because I otherwise would have been able to purchase tickets. Since it was a side email account I never check, the marketing emails never bothered me and I never opted out. Their "subscription" excuse was invalid in my case. For me, it especially stings because I was looking forward to this since 2014 and it was going to be a mini-vacation away from the situation involving said family member.

In the end, I guess it's money saved and in its stead, I will go try out a different convention in my area.
