    3.3 Revised 2* Rotation - 29 Steps

I have been using Rath's Maker's Mark Rotation for awhile now and it gets more efficient as our stats increase. The problem is I just can't sit through the Flawless Synthesis anymore so I revised my 2* Rotation that requires just 963 Craftsmanship & 435 CP which is reasonable with the new Ironworks gear. Here is the Rotation:

    Muscle Memory
    Comfort Zone
    Inner Quiet
    Waste Not II
    Steady Hand II
    Hasty Touch
    Hasty Touch
    Hasty Touch
    Hasty Touch
    Hasty Touch
    Careful Synthesis II
    Careful Synthesis II
    Comfort Zone
    Steady Hand II
    Hasty Touch
    Hasty Touch
    Master's Mend II
    Hasty Touch
    Hasty Touch
    Steady Hand II
    Hasty Touch
    Great Strides
    Innovation
    Ingenuity II
    Brygot's Blessing
    Careful Synthesis II
    Careful Synthesis II
    Careful Synthesis II

There are 10 Quality Checks vs Rath's 11, but you don't need an IQ stack of 11 or even 10 if your control is high enough, an IQ stack of 9 is the threshold. If you can make it to 471 CP you can swap 2 Hasty Touch with 2 Precise Touch on the Good Procs or a 100% Basic Touch. You can use Tricks of the Trade, but the 1st one will cost you 5 CP if taken on a turn with Steady Hand II active, it's a pretty tight rotation.

This rotation works on 3* but with 9 Quality checks, you replace the last Hasty with a Careful Synthesis II under Ingenuity II at the end. If I have > 2K starting Quality I use this one to save on time. Of course RNG will bite you in the ass, but that's always a given.

I'll have to review, but I was constructing one similar to this myself but couldn't quit get it constructed in a way which made me want to change. None the less I like your layout. The Careful synth x2 without an ingenuity was clever.

Another SIGNIFICANT advantage this rotation has, is a built in double bait for Byregot's. Baits are annoying, but built in baits are extremely useful and will give you huge quality gains from time to time.

I think the real question to me personally. Isn't so much is this better than Rath's. But rather what will work best in 4 star when it comes out and is it worth switching rotations depending on which will be better. Flawless becomes more annoying as the crafts have higher progress/durability. But they also allow you to ToT more. Right now I can ToT three times in three star crafting, during the FS cycle (and get the CP back for use). Which is nuts. This gives me 4-5 perfect/basic touches to work with. I think Rath's rotation style will on average HQ more reliability (or with less quality required) but a Muscle Memory will clearly save ALOT of time, which is also highly valuable.

Right now I'm using a macro similar to what is posted above for 3 star and under using Muscle memory, to save as much time as possible.

    ---

Anyway, the rotation is solid Jade. I like the design and it appears to function well.

Thanx I constructed this rotation for speed, first and foremost. I'm LTW specialist so I needed a ton of Camphor, made it so that I only needed 1 HQ Branch out of the five to make it pre-3.3 Ironworks gear. Now I can use all NQ mats and HQ the Camphor efficiently.

I'm waiting to meld my Tools depending on the requirements for 4* crafting. Most likely this rotation will not be optimal, Ingenuity is usually less-effective the higher the *-level.

Here's another 29 step rotation; it requires 466cp but only 886 craftsmanship (if you made the ironworks accessories first), and gets you 11 hasty touches instead of 10

Just looking at this, if you put the SH2 before the WN2, and only use one WN2 charge on a SH2, you should be able to fit another HT in before the MM2.

CZ, IQ, SH2, WN, HT, HT, HT, HT, SH2, HT, HT, HT, HT, HT, HT, CZ, MM2, SH2, HT, HT, GS, BB, SH, Name, Ing2, Brand, Brand, Brand, CS2.

12 HT's, though one is not covered by a SH2.

Unless the simulator is wrong, it says you need 890 craft, not 886, but that looks pretty good nonetheless.

Name and brand is the way to go with this macro. My two star macro is similar but I can squeeze out 1 basic touch and 11 hasty touches under SH2. Getting less than 100% with all NQ is extremely rare.

For 3 star, craftsmanship isn't high enough to quite get the progress I want so I'm only hitting 10 hasty touches. With 1700 starting quality I can get 100% on 8/10 touches. 85% on 7/10. I aim for higher starting quality when mass producing stuff like Ironworks for added comfort, but Eikon mats and food I'm fine with 1700-2000.

I used my own makers mark rotation while gearing up, but now at full melds I have a hard time going back and not using macros. Running double crafters, I'm just not going to sit there any babysit Flawless Synthesis all day. Ain't nobody got time for dat.

886 was tested in game, 884 was too low, didn't test 885. You can't take the simulator numbers for fact if you use ingenuity I or II, they are always slightly off.

This is actually closer to what I meant to post, you'll notice I said 29 steps but only had 28 in my rotation >.< I was fudging around to see if I could optimize it more for cp and forgot to revert before I copy and pasted the steps.

Pretty sure you meant for that "WN" at step 4 to be a WN2.

Good catch, I did indeed mean for that to be WN2.

I so rarely use WN2 I must have forgotten to include the 2!
