Hi,
I'm deeply disappointed with the primal stuff except a few ones.
I have a feeling like there is a preferential treatment on some classes, in general, but particularly on these series.
Let's have a look at who gets a dedicated outfit :
- Dragoons get a wonderful Garuda outfit
- Monks get a wonderful Ifrit outfit with MARVELOUS weapon
- Ninjas get Leviathan outfit
Now the shared ones :
- Tanks get for all 3 classes a revamp of monk outfit (not even a dedicated one)
- Machinist / Bard get a recolored of Ninja's outfit (not even a rework, just a recolor, for 2 classes)
- Summoner and Black Mage get a Shiva outfit
- All 3 healers get a whitey recolor of Summoner / Black Mage
Now my questions :
- Why is it that the monk weapon is the ONLY wonderful weapon and the other feel like unfinished ? When I saw the MNK ifrit fists I was astonished by their beauty and the work Square did. Thank you very much for that, but why do the other primal weapons look not even as cool (by far) as the craft i95 primal weapons ? Some of them feel a bit minecrafty, like you not only forgot to add a nice effect but also textures ! And on top of that, monk is the only class to get Gerolt's nexus weapon
It feels like a lot of attention was brought upon monk with latest update and it's ok but not if it's a prejudice to others...
- Since the game is out, except artefact, healer stuff has always been a white revamp of caster stuff.
Why ? It's geting tiring, could you please please get out of this habit ? Why always white, why always a copy of caster ? There are 3 classes here, you could dedicate an outfit maybe ?- Same for tanks, why reuse the work of the monk for tanks ? Or is it the reverse maybe, but again, there are 3 tanks
- I find Shiva stuff is not recognizable. Except the lower part of the body piece, it doesn't really remind of Shiva. In fact, mixing caster body with healer coloring is more Shivy than the total look we get when we use the whole outfit. The blue from caster is too deep and the white from healers is too plain
- This caster thing is getting tiring too. As if summoners were casters, most of our attacks are instant, and we have a pet remember ? ^^
- You want people to stop saying machinist is a bard revamp, then stop associating them ^^
- Where are Ramuh and Titan ?
To conclude this list, you decided to use primals as inspiration for outfits, but you did make only 4 outfits out of them, with variations... I feel like the potential of using primals has been wasted...
In the end, I feel like dragoon and monk are the winners here, with really complete and really wonderful work on them, but the others have had less time. And the weapons... why add such a nice glow to only one weapon out of all the classes around ?
Did you maybe run out of time ? I hope I won't hurt any feelings in the team here but that's my feeling.
Could you please rework at least the weapons other than monk ?
Primordials are the essence of this game and folklore, please don't waste this theme on usual grouping of classes/outfits and rushed designs for weapons....
