Technical Difficulties Following Patch 3.2 (Feb. 23)

We would like to share information regarding the recent technical difficulties on the Mana and Gaia data centers.

Immediately following the release of Patch 3.2, the duty matching system became overloaded with too many duty registrations, which also affected the servers responsible for changing areas and logging in. Since these servers are used by entire data centers, the affected data centers went down.

We are currently investigating this situation with the highest priority. Once we have verified the fix, we will apply the fix to the affected data centers in an emergency maintenance.

Information regarding the details of the issue will be shared at a later time after the fix.
The development and operations teams working on promptly resolving this situation thank you for your patience and understanding.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this is causing.

    Technical Difficulties Following Patch 3.2 (Feb. 23) : Follow-up

With the emergency maintenance that was carried out on several of the data centers until Feb. 24, 2016 12:00 a.m. (PST) / 8:00 (GMT), countermeasures against this issue have been completed. We would like to share information regarding the issue that was experienced.

Immediately following the release of Patch 3.2, the duty matching system became overloaded with too many duty registrations, which also affected the servers responsible for changing areas and logging in. Since these servers are used by entire data centers, the affected data centers went down.

As as result of investigation, we ascertained that this was a previously existing but dormant issue in the changing of areas, which only became prominent due to the recent system overload; therefore, we addressed the issue in question, and carried out an emergency maintenance.

After the emergency maintenance, we monitored the situation closely, and were able to confirm that players were entering instances and changing areas smoothly.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that was caused.
