Regarding the payment. It says on your objective that Final Fantasy 14 will be compatible for hardcore gamers and casual gamers. It is a bit unfair for casual gamers like myself to pay for a 30 days even though I am only playing half of the time (or less). Is it possible for your good office to maybe have an option for casual gamers to pay 30- gaming days, meaning whenever a player logs-in it is consider as 1 game day. Unlike the payment method that you've said before, the 30 days runs consecutively doesnt matter if you play or not.
It's coming. Tentatively planned for 1.20 if possible.

What's the status on /stand and /online?
We’ll be implementing the ability to use the text command “/shutdown” in patch 1.20.
By entering the text command “/shutdown,” players will be able to shut down the game client without having to return to the character selection screen and continue the process to shut down.
We’ll also be making a change to the “log out” option from the main menu. When selecting “log out” from the main menu, players will be able to select whether to return to the character selection screen or completely shut down the game client.
We appreciate your patience so far and ask that you hang on a bit longer until patch 1.20.

Sounds good! Until then, I'll continue to Rage(Alt)quit(tab) as per usual.
