It took less than 10 minutes from when I realized that housing was available today to every single one being purchased. I've played this game since 1.0 and have been trying to save up for home ownership since the feature was released. I've crafted day in and out, busting my chops to achieve in-game wealth for well over a year only to have the ONE chance in the last year to buy a property taken in this period of time. When I checked, there were 10+ small and medium plots available in the Goblet. When I got there, every one was taken. I just don't know what reason I have to play this game anymore. I really don't...

Move to Siren. 3 of the best small plots are available in the goblin and there are a few mists in every ward in less desirable locations.

Lamia still has 10+ houses open in the Goblet. I'm sure other small servers do too, it's odd to see how many people expect a house on populated servers when clearly there isn't enough to go around.

I've been through all of the story and a great deal of the side content. Everyone has goals. For some people, it's getting that Anima/Zeta/Whatever weapon and full top tier gear. For some, it's having the best racing chocobo, or an awesome card deck, or having beat the hardest content. I've done a great deal of that, and wanted a house, and worked hard towards saving up. You two are right, I have been playing a wrong game. Best of luck in your endeavors. Nice work, SE.

I hear ya, cancelled mine today as well, no reason why I shouldnt have a house. I'm paying the same amount (if not more with my extra retainers) as people who already have homes, and I'm not able to participate in all the games content like they are? No thanks, I'm movin on.

Jenova has lots open if you want them. You just can't buy them now because of some glitch. But there are 7 open in my fc's ward alone, not counting the subdivsion.

Siren has some smalls left. Transfer. We can buy plots. I already bought 3 myself.

There's no shame in quitting this game because you can't have a house. They add a ton of value for me, so I jumped servers about a month ago and bought one. If you don't really feel like doing that though, SE hasn't really shown that they are willing or capable to put the resources into fixing it unfortunately.

Look at the bright side... if you quit now, you won't be losing a house, and you can come back if they ever get this straightened out!

On Gilgamesh all the plots of all sizes in all wards and locations that became available were bought in less than 15 minutes. A great majority bought by resellers who are now trying to get 40+ mill for smalls. What a disaster lol. I was camping waiting for the demolish from the time the servers came back online post maintenance. Only reason I even got a plot for myself.
