    Reflection on the idea of teleport removal.

    How would people feel if the teleport ability was taken away once chocobos and airships were opened up. Perhaps if Teleport were spells given to DoM's at later levels.

    Just an idea that has popped up and wondered what the general concensus would be. Shame we can't just Poll this.

    Not having to rely on exactly what you're proposing is always a good thing in my mind. When chocobos come out, people are still gonna use 'em. In fact, I'm pretty sure that whatever additional plans are around for chocobos are designed to counter the use of teleporting for everything.

    I really really hate teleporting.
    People cry about the lack of airships and chocobos but with this immersion breaking teleporting system who the hell would use them anyway?

    I mean I never see anyone on the damn ferry.

    You don't see people on the ferry not because they're teleporting as much as it's because the ferry is kinda crap right now. Although I think it stands that once extra modes of transportation are available, teleportation will be limited somehow.

    I miss the FFXI's White Mage Teleport spells, could work with current teleport system in place.
    Mainly because most of us run out of Anima pretty much after a few days of playing lol.

    I agree with Malakhim on the ferry/ship ride. (it's one hell of a boring ride)
    The ship should have some NPC shop on it atleast, to buy fishing gear/supply, have some random (non aggro) mobs pop on the deck, dosent have to be crabs & skeletons. Ghosts, Apkullo, Fish monster maybe?

    I think when alternative transports are added then people won't be so reliant on anima anyway. I would probably only use mine to tele from one zone to another, if it was within the same zone I would most likely get a Chocobo.

    I'd would use airships just to see the world of Erozea from above, beautiful sunsets / sundowns.
    And if i had to travel long distance when i was out of Anima ofc.

    Maybe add some leves related to air-ship travels, escort of some kind, protect the cargo from
    attacking "Winged Beasts". (idk, just some ideas)

    Why the heck would you get rid a system that allows player to easily and quickly gather for parties, etc?

    There are many players that conserve anima by use of the ferry and whatnot. [shrug]

    I agree with Alexia Kidd, once we have established Final Fantasy style transportation (chocobos, airships) I think the teleport system can be adjusted, I like the convinience of teleporting on a whim but meh, it doesnt feel right, I'd prefer WHM's to have the teleport like FFXI.

    As Alexia said, I would only teleport from one major city to the other and use horsebirds (lol) to get around.
