    There is a significant issue somewhere between the Southern US and the NA servers, and I suspect it's to do with Level3 connections based on tracert and pathping results over the last week.

    Every evening as Internet traffic increases, I experience intermittent lag of 1-3 seconds. I don't notice it as much while in battle, but it's extremely noticeable while gathering and crafting, when macros are impossible to use, and abilities and visual effects are delayed by 1-3 seconds over and over.

    In the year that I've been playing FFXIV, I've never experienced the terrible lag and intermittent connectivity issues as I have within the last couple of weeks. It's very frustrating.

    Been having really bad lag since May 16 maintenance, and it gets much worse during the nighttime hours. Seems to be a problem with the heavy traffic in the last few nodes going to the FFXIV server. Have you ever thought about moving the NA server to a place in the US with better infrastructure and routes so people can connect easier.

    Ticket or reference number from your ISP: Comcast says there isn't an issue. Speed tests are fine, ping tests to google are fine.

    State/Country: Michigan, US

    Date/Time: 7-11pm EST, Dungeons are unplayable around 9pm (worst time)

    Frequency: Very seldom happens during other hours than 7-11pm EST. During this time frame though, the lag will occur a few times per minute, where everything has to "suddenly catch up." Around 9pm though, the lag is so bad that there is almost more frozen frames than moving ones. :/ Makes it impossible to do anything but craft, and even that can be a challenge when the crafting window refuses to appear.

    Content (Which content were you playing in-game when the issue occurred?): It's the worst in instances. You can notice it somewhat when crafting or in town when people suddenly jump to a new location. I'm not sure if it happens *more* in instances, or if I just can't tell as much when I'm out of them.

    Which in-game World were you playing on when the issue occurred? Behemoth.

    Tracert: I'm not really laggy right now, it's 10pm so the lag has died down quite a bit. I'll try to get another test tomorrow at 9pm. Hope this helps:

    Latency connectivity issues

    For the past 4 days have been experiencing poor connectivity with the NA data servers making playing unplayable disconnects every 2minutes in raid/dungeon and while out crafting in the world and latency showing as more than 2K and error 90002's. Now while I may suspect it could be a issue from my ISP's end due to extremely poor weather from flooding over weekend I am able to watch Netflix and the like without issues it seems to connecting to NA data servers that is causing grief.
