Loss of Garden after maintenance

My Free company tended the garden exactly 10 minutes before maintenance, when we logged in after the 3.1 maintenance, all our plants were dead and could not be restored.

this is not acceptable, square enix needs to stop the grow timers when their is maintenance, it's not our fault you had to take your servers down for 24 hours, but we are getting penalized. I lost 16 glazenuts which are hard enough to grow.

I am not impressed.

You had plenty of warning when the maint was gonna occur, not SE's fault you choose to plant something at that time.

Well, nowhere in the maintenance notes does it say that we cant plant things, so either way, we should be notified.

And no where in the Terms of Service does it say SE is required to notify you when/if they perform a maint so once again you're outta luck. SE is courteous enough to offer multiple ways for you to get information when they are performing a maint so instead of whining on the forums take the time to read about maint before deciding to do anything in game.

Erm, this has been common knowledge since the first patch after gardens were released. Never, ever, have something growing during lengthy patch downtime.

Im not here to ask for something to be done about my lost garden, i am here to say that square enix should know about it, and put measures in place to prevent it from occurring.
