Quest Bug/ Can you reset a quest? GM Please help!!

I've been through the ringer here so far over a quest... I was trying to start the lvl 20 storyline quest "Fade To White". I went to the market wards as requested by my NPC Linkpearl, I began the quest, and entered a Cut Scene. After the Cut scene I was supposed to talk to a NPC in an "Instance". While in the "Instance" I checked my
"Journal", after that FFXIV Crashed. Once I logged back in I was no longer in the instance, and I am not able to re enter it. My NPC Linkpearl continues to "hint" to start the quest. Also my journal does NOT have the quest logged in the book. ( I have reported FFXIV crashes due to quest related issues involving the Journal to the support website ) I have also spoken with an In Game GM who has now directed me here... Im running out of places to ask !

He told me that by posting here a GM would reply to me soon, and It could be properly escalated. I really hope so because I would like to continue the story quest.
