    1 buff to Clemency

    Additional Effect: After blocking, The next Clemency's cast time will be reduced to 0.

    It would activate like Shield Swipe
    It will STILL cost like half your mp.
    This would make Shetron a lot more useful.
    Shetron a physical tank buster, then heal yourself.
    Since PLD's are suppose to be the king of physical damage mitigation, I think this would boost their biggest strength even further.

    What do you think? i'd love to see this happen.

    One huge buff to clemency would be to just make it so it can't be interrupted.

    Seriously, why isn't this a thing already?

    It should be a passive effect on Shield Oath - permanent Surecast. That way a paladin in Shield Oath who's tanking can cast Clemency and Stoneskin too without interruption. It shouldn't be OP due to the lack of damage/threatgen they'd have doing this, and it would be limited by MP.

    I like the OP's idea. Its better than weird, unmotivated and uninspired tacking-on of a surecast effect to random buffs a PLD has, and actually works to tie together two otherwise distinct, separate, and unrelated mechanics/abilities. You could literally just Sheltron+Clemency every physical TB though, providing a mere block be enough to keep you from dying, which would be pretty OP. But I like the idea of tying mechanics and abilities together to make the job feel more in sync with itself.

    Outside of PVP I feel like player spells shouldn't be interruptable in the first place. =/

    I actually like this idea. It creates synergy with the other classes unique mechanic. It gives a fair bit of interplay with Shelltron as well (you can block before the buster to trigger a heal to get yourself to full or the traditional way; gives the PLD more control over their own HP).

    Honestly, i think we have enough stuff tied to block...

    I'd instead have it be an effect of Royal Authority...reduce cast time by 1-1.5 S on the next spell cast.

    Has the benefit of letting us be a little bit more of an offhealer while we're offtanking (Making up for our lower DPS in general), gives our DPS Combo a "thing" like pretty much most other combos in the game, and it paves the way for future spells in the paladin kit. Long cast times that we reduce with the combo, giving us a unique casting style all our own.

    See the only problem with this I would find is if you're already at full health or near enough and I can see healers curing you even when you used your instant clemency cast.

    or Maybe if you do get it the effect of Instant clemency will last for 10 seconds or so. So you got some free time with it.

    yes, yes and yes.

    I'd even settle for an additional effect to be added to Tempered Will - "Casts cannot be interrupted..."

    Now I can use tempered will for something other than cheesing knockback mechanics
