    Daily Challenge

Let's face it. The daily capping limit is horrid. We run one of two dungeons repeatedly over and over again for gear to make those dungeons faster to do. It's a never ending cycle that started with MMO's years back.

But Square, FFXIV is better than that?

We have the challenge log. Instead of giving us a dungeon to do EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Give us something interesting. How about a bonus system? You can do different things each day to earn Esoterics (or even law) the best part is that these need not be bound to lvl 60 tasks. ie

    Level a char: 10 tomestones
    Complete x Fates: 10 Tomestones
Win a _ Match in PVP: 20 bonus tomestones
Win 10 triple triad matches against quailifying NPC's: 10 Esoterics

I'm sure there is more, but this is what I've got so far.

I agree completely. The daily and weekly tasks makes the game simply feel like a job where there are certain things you are expected to do every day.

Yeah, it was meh with three dungeons, it is mind numbing with two. I hope they come up with more alternatives in 3.1 and forward.

I mean it's seriously dull now. For 6 months almost all we've had to do at max lvl is run Alexander Savage, and Cap. It's just a large grindfest D:

I love FFXIV because of the rapidly evolving content. As of right now though they need to add more variety into the players daily life. Dungeons have their part but add in some mini games or even misc tasks to our daily grind to spice things up.
