About Those "FFXIV Has Stopped Working" Issues

I don't know if this is an isolated issue that has just happened to affect me and the other person I spoke to, but I just thought I'd chime in with this about the "Stopped Working" crashes.

My friend and I both noticed that our constant crashes have been the result of some sort of audio incompatibility. I'm not a tech genius, so I can't describe it much better than that - but after I was plagued with "Stopped Working" crashes for about 30 minutes, I unplugged the headset after noticing my playback manager wouldn't open, completely reset my PC, and the crashes went away. Again, I'm not sure if this is an isolated issue or not, but I figured it was worth noting just in case anyone else runs across this weird issue. For some reason, FFXIV has always had very picky audio issues with me.

(For reference, I am on Windows 10, and have been using the same headset for about a year now. After unplugging them and ridding myself of whatever incompatibility they were causing with FFXIV, I stopped crashing permanently.)

Well I posted over past week on same type crash, believing it to be a Win10/Dx11/Hotfix 3.05 (8 Sep) issue - I did a complete vid driver uninstall/reinstall to no avail. I do not have a headset, I have standard speakers (using Z97 sound chipset driver for Realtek High Def Audio driver 6.0.1.7560 on ASRock Extreme6 board). Anyway, Since then I have changed back to Dx9 on FFXIV and the crashes are back ~ hereis my most recent Event Viewer info:

Any similiar issues from other players, or advice (Square Enix, anything from you)?
