This has been something I've been looking forward too. Cus you know when PLD's actually become viable and required, DRK will be on the sidelines instead and that's when MNK can go "Hey, you miss me?"

Sorry man as far as I know he's just a good player. Also you guys shouldn't be witch hunting a player down on the official forums. Also, Ossom this is completely unrelated to MNKs but would it be possible to have your static BLM, Count Brusef, respond to the questions in the Black Mage Sanctuary thread starting on page 108? People are really mind blown at the things he's able to do ATM so having the man himself speak could really clear things up.
Oh reread this, I can try and ask him I guess.

I'm all for protecting ya peoples, but everyone following the situation, including the dev team who found out from reddit thread, knows what's up at this point. They mentioned it in the japanese version of duty commenced. We all know it's not just being a good player. He doesn't even need to say anything at this point.
I'm not really into the witch hunt portion of this (well I semi-started it I guess on the assumption he had super Diadem gear) but it'd be suicide for him to publicly admit his group's BLM may have utilized known 3rd party cheating. He'd be throwing his whole group under the bus, right before 3.2 launches. Political answer or no, it'd be far better to plead the 5th than to give the answer the evidence points towards, here.

I'm 100% for the Devs to look into peoples' suspicions. (not that my opinion matters)I'm all for protecting ya peoples, but everyone following the situation, including the dev team who found out from reddit thread, knows what's up at this point. It just seems like some people have already gotten banned for witch hunting (as in posting players' names) over this situation. No reason to get banned from the forums over something the Developers are actively looking into already.
Response from Yoshi on BLM thread regarding the modification
So from the 3.2 patch notes today:
DoT potency of Demolish increased from 40 to 50.
Howling Fist potency increased from 170 to 210.
What do you guys think? Trying to make the raw damage vs offensive utility (drg + nin) less dominant?
I'm no expert, but it really should...
I didn't think we were getting any buffs to be honest, and I wasn't really sure if we needed it. Everyone used DRK for Gordias, which makes MNK less favorable, but since PLD is getting buffed, MNK should see more play just based on that.
Not sure how much this will translate into DPS, but it's a pretty big buff to Demo there, and I'm loving the insane AoE oGCD skills we have now![]()
Man, we basically have 2 Elixir Fields now...like we needed more buffs lmao. I ain't complaining though, more damage!
I was thinking of going Ninja and our Paladin changing to Dark Knight for Midas (Savage) prog but...now I don't think our statics composition will change thanks to all these buffs Paladin and Monk got. Midas does look more Paladin friendly (hopefully).
This is actually a huge buff. If you have roughly 100% Uptime, you're looking at + ~13 Potency every 3 Seconds. (10 * 1.3 for GL). So if a fight goes on for 10 Minutes, thats ~10 (Minutes) * 60 (Seconds) / 3(Seconds per Tick) * 13(Extra Potency) = 2600 Potency throughout the fight. Its a pretty big buff, they added like 70 Potency to our strongest skill.
