I have a 2 weeks new cg, fresh install with fresh drivers installation, everything runs fine on the computer except dx11ffxiv client.
I tested all the possible benchmarks on the market, everything is fine.
A friend tested this new card on his computer, same crash problem.
He tested the game on his computer (with another graphic card model), same crash problem.

So don't tell me my hardware is bad.
They just need to fix the dx11 client.

Be it through standard settings, or Nividia inspector.

HOWEVER, 347.25 the first driver to support ffxiv dx11 actually works flawlessly so far for SLI and performance seems up a bit.
Might want to try that one out for people having issues still on 347.88
Well, this was working. But in combination with shadowplay gpu usage drops >-< ughhh back to 353.38

Actually, no. PC configurations are nearly infinite in scope in possibility. And these issues are actually quite widespread for a great many nvidia users--an issue which nvidia is aware of and taking steps to resolve according to ManuelG on their website...so yeah.

Nice job being -that- guy that offers non-help.

In regards to the blackscreening/driver has stopped responding issue alone, it can be a lot of things before it's the GPU at all. Hell, bad memory timings can cause it. And do.
With the DX11 issues that I was having, they were actually dealing with the way the game was attempting to write to memory it was trying to read from while loading, which was a minor data corruption in the OS.

Hooked software isn't a bad lead for some possibly. I personally don't have any apps running in the background. However the vast majority of your other possibilities would all become easily apparent to us, sense I'm sure most have many many other games they play, that require all of those things to be in check. And no other game has a issue like this. And sense FFXIV was late to the party with DX11, its not a issue due to other games not using DX11.

Yeah, I'm experiencing the issues as well. Only while in DX11, DX9 works fine. EVERYTIME I load a dungeon its just an instant crash to desktop. I would say about 60% of the time I am loading between zones I have the issue as well. As everyone else has pointed out, I am using an AMD Card. the R9 295x2 with 15.15 Catalyst drivers. I DO NOT GET pop ups about my drivers stopped working, or any music continuing to play, it is just an instantaneous CTD.

    There are 3 main causes:
    1) Software hooked into the game client (eg MSI Afterburner, Ratr, nVidia Experience)
    2) Microsoft Visual C++ runtimes are out of date (which means you haven't been running Windows Update like you are supposed to)
    3) Drivers are out of date (particularly you haven't updated -ALL- your GPU drivers, this includes the iGPU in Intel i3/i5/i7 chips)
    4) Bad GPU hardware (factory overclocked parts)

If it's not the first 3, which are entirely within your control, it must be the 4th option.

Otherwise absolutely everyone would have the problem, which is not the case.

    1) Nothing of those software installed. (because i don't need them, as i am not overclocking and stuff like that)
    2) it's all up to date.
    3) it's all up to date. (if you have a dedicated GFX then you disable the iGPU in the bios anyway, at least me, and even with the dedicated GFX removed and trying with my iGPU the game wont start after clicking the button on the launcher in dx11 mode, its the same with the dedicated GFX))
    4) everything is ok, (besides if hardware was faulty then other games would give me the same error or something similar)

the problem is clearly on nvidia, ati, Square or microsoft's side.

edit: my GFX is a Nvidia GTX 560Ti

    I recently got a new graphics card a XFX R9 380 4gb i am using 15.7 amd driver.
I am unable to use ff14 direct x 11 client because i get random ingame crashes from time to time.

When i play using direct x 9 there are no crashes at all.

my previous graphic card amd 7850 1gb did not have any trouble at all with direct x 11
i think this could be a driver issue

    please help

My problem, being an access violation, can most certainly be the client.
