Hey, the explorers of Eorzea have raised! The first time there was only one answer, but now it's good to see that there're others who enjoy the Art of Exploration and look forward to new content.
I definitely am with that nice Exploration category in the Achievement System. Devs, please keep on introducing content for us Explorers!

Hello again.
I was really looking forward to the Job Quests after Yoshida said in his XXIV letter they're designed “To take the form of quests incorporating exploration and battle” and I was really satisfied that I had to venture in Eorzea to do them.
So far I only did the first ones of the Monk and it was a nice Adventure. Also, the lore/history tidbits told by Professor Erik are Great!
In the past days I mainly focused on crafting and I've to catch up with the latest announcements/posts; however, I've finished reading the new items listed in the patch notes and I saw a surprise!
11 equipments called Explorer's ...! For the first time, I've an interest in a new equipment released.
Unfortunately there wasn't any addition to the Exploration Achievement category, so it doesn't seem like I'll be able to get my Explorer's Bandana through Exploration, but I'll definitely be on the lookout for it (whatever effects it may have, I'm interested only in the name ).
Anyway, back to the Job Quests, thanks for remembering about us few explorers of Eorzea and keep it going with future patches!

One idea I liked from WoW, was that you had to actually explore a place before you could see it on the map. When you first entered a zone for the first time, the map was completely blank. As you ventured further into the zone, the map would fill itself in around the areas you found. For example if you found a town, the area around the town would fill in on the map. In addition you'd also get a few experience points for uncovering that area of the map. So in order to see the entire map, you actually had to go everywhere on the map and doing so netted you a good bit of experience points as well.
Wish they would do this in XIV too.
