The MP struggle is real atm. Not impossible to handle, but handicap nonetheless. I'm spamming Syphon like it owns me money (Kudos if you get the reference)
That's exactly why I said to make a new bug post including the details for only this bug. Hopefully they'll move it to a relevant area. Even them moving it to "duplicate" would be an acknowledgement that it's under consideration. =)
In regards to the phenomenon where it seems like more MP is consumed when a player has a HoT or DoT buff/debuff while Darkside is active, this is only a visual bug with the MP display and we're currently working to address it. The problem is that it's not just a visual bug, because the client does restrict your use of abilities and removes Darkside when it thinks that you have less MP than required, even when you have more. Dark Knight is a good job too, it's just that the issue lies with the people playing the job. It is a visual bug, tested. In a training dummy with dark side on just auto attacking for 20 seconds. Then with regen on for 30 seconds the end mp amount was exactly the same. The only time it will actually make a difference is when you are low on mp and it ticks down just as you want to use an ability. But it is working correctly. I wish dark side only used mp when you used an attack action rather than just ticking down mp all the time. But this mp bug is nothing more than a visual glitch.
