My favorite thing is how dangerous the open world will be. FINALLY!

A good read! Thanks! : )
I highly doubt it'll truly be "dangerous". No game has successfully done that in years.
Depends on what you call "dangerous". I mean, they don't want a field full of mosters look like you're in Savage SCOB, but things that you must be aware in order to not mess it up. It's "dangerous" if you can accidentally aggro unwanted monsters that can actually kill you, for example, as you gather X item for Y quest or kill a certain monster that is placed at that location.
well as long as it is harder than it is now- im happy
beware of all the casuals who will come demanding a nerf, like it or not it will happen >_>
I would consider myself casual. BUt at this point- NO MORE NERFS. 2.0- has a huge tutorial of 1-50 with lots of hand holding. And with the requirement of completing content through 2.55 to enter 3.0 - players should be more prepared than ever if they can't breeze through things with ivl 90 gear well theres a lot of ways to gear up.
In short- no more nerfs- if you have problems- with practice raiding coming- practice and/or create learning parties.
SE only nerfs when their data shows that there needs to be one. If they tuned the mob difficulty too high and a majority of their player base can't get through it, they're going to nerf it. Hopefully, they put it out in a state that doesn't require it to be re-tuned.
I wouldn't even consider that hard.
shame dungeons weren't given the same treatment from what they've said, still it's great how the world will be a little more interesting now that those 'dangerous beasts' in the wild can do more to you than 100 damage auto attacks.
