DEV REQUEST:DUEL/SPAR system

Since I think Open Pvp would be to crazy and people would just kill you while you're mining,fishing,etc....

I propose a Duel/Spar system like Dc Universe Online has, Invite a player to duel and then you can pvp within an enclosed space.

There will be option to ignore all duels or you put an icon next to a players name indicating that person wants to duel and available to duels.

Just think it would be fun to duel/spar in open world and get people into PVP- playing the game longer and having more things to do in game.

Yes please add dueling!!! This would be my number 1 requested feature. My second would be 72man secure coming back.

Yea dueling is the least they could give us....it's not like it'll effect anyone's gaming experience. Just don't do it if you don't want to. No reason not to have it in game.

Well, the PvP section has recently been graced by a community rep. Prior to that I was certainly thinking this section occupied some sort of blind spot and wouldn't have bothered making thread here, now though...

Now maybe we can have a thread which isn't plagued by a bunch of PvE players who are blissfully unaware of how PvP works in this game and keep coming up with the same tired responses that make no sense. My sides are still hurting from "but PvP isn't popular and duels will just cause lag!", wish I could say the same about "but PvP will ruin PvE balance!". I'm really not sure why it is so hard for people to accept that PvP is balanced separately in this game...

The jobs aren't really balanced for 1v1, and PvP is an afterthought in this game. As long as I can turn off people requesting a duel with me, I'm ok with it though.

It's true that jobs aren't balanced for 1vs1 but people is asking for free duels, it could be useful to improve your personal skill, have fun with friends, try different location as "pvp", like people challenging with triple triad cards, even there things are totally unbalanced, I can clash with someone with the starter deck even if I have all the cards xD
But until it is just for personal fun there is no problem
