I'd love to be able to place items such as the stuffed qiqirn on a bed or couch, anyone else? Is there any possibility this could be done in the future? I'm sure I'm not the only one that would love this option~

This is taking advantage of a glitch, but you can somewhat get this effect.

Unfortunately there are no tables at the same height as chair seats or sofas (could be wrong, it's been awhile) but I'm sure you could manage putting something on top of a sofa back or something.

To put stuff on furniture that isn't the same height as a table you can use a partition and a wall-shelf to get the right height.

The wall shelf can't be placed at a low enough height to match various chairs, but otherwise, yes.
