The best memory I've had so far is facing down Twintania over 20 times and finally beating her. Only since then have I felt like a full-fledged WHM, and a True Defender of Eorzea. No one can touch me now.

My FC bestie/partner in crime, Rana Tayuum, and I recently went to the beach together to lament our woes on our FC's house location, which is in Lavender Beds (where it rains all day forever).

We both love the ocean.

Gaius van Baelsar was and still is my favorite villain of A Realm Reborn. I was sad that his demise came so soon, and I wish for him to one day return (somehow). So for my fondest memory I chose this scene of our final encounter with him.

The moment where you're tasked with laying your friends to rest and seek solace from the gods really spoke to me. Especially the description of the sounds of the desert, yet no help from the gods. It really pushed home that at that moment, you're all alone in your quest.

My favorite memory? Actually, it was Nanamo. Finding her under the Sultantree under an alias, and then finding out she was actually the Sultana. Learning of the plight in Ul'dah and how she wanted to change things. And then, the horror of what happened at the end.

I'm going to miss her...

Memory: Exploring every single bit of Eorzea when ARR was released and making screenshots of every pretty thing I saw.

It's hard to pin down a particular moment, but my favorite memories are from that first sense of wonder you get when you're brand new to the game. Logging on, waking up to a few moments after dawn. You can hear the birds chirping, and the soft horn of the Shroud theme. Though it's just a picture, you can just feel how crisp that morning air is.
