When the beta/early access came out, there was obviously a mad dash to burn through as much story as possible. Well, starting in Ul'dah we ran upon the quest where a member of the Scions will come to assist you. Unfortunately, there was a bit of a problem.. The quest was breaking and people couldn't enter it due to the crazy amount of people surrounding the NPC! So my husband and I got as many people as we could to form an line to the NPC. It amazed me how all of these people on Balmung actually listened to what we had to say and did it! Everyone made a line AND everyone in that line made it through to the next section of story! It was so awesome that the server came together like that. It's situations like this that make me happy to be a part of the FFXIV community and an adventurer in Eorzea.

I was walking around dressed in a red tux with red glasses, and the angle seemed so perfect that I just had to take this picture. We all laugh at it whenever I decide to bring it up because it's like I'm playing match-maker with the two.

Taken back in July of 2013. Excitedly exploring the post-Calamity (and now unfamiliar) Eorzea for the first time, I was surprised by and fell in love with the sight of the sun rising over the Burning Wall. Even with a toaster of a computer with settings turned down, Eorzea was (and still is) a beautiful place to behold! This map was quite a huge change from the old Thanalan that we were use to. Even today, I'll still AFK here to watch the sun rise. It's a reminder to stop and enjoy the sights of the beautiful land that we play and adventure in.

Comment: This is a favorite endgame cutscene from the main storyline that I will cherish in my memories during my times in Eorzea. This time it involves my Warrior of Light character, as a Paladin, glamoured as THE Warrior of Light, wielding the Blade of Light, and the powers of the light. Now that's a lot of lights. I will be looking forward to the next chapter of the first FINAL FANTASY XIV expansion Heavensward.

This is going to be super cheesy but that's ok. My partner and I played FFXI for many years, I think we started in 2008. After FFXIV 2.0 beta came out we switched to it head on. Playing Final Fantasy has definitely been a benefit to us. It helped us grow a strong bond both IRL and in-game. We try to do everything together - especially when events roll over, I love events. He will wait excitedly for me to come online and participate in the events with me - followed by hours of screenshots! This screenshot is actually one of our "honeymoon" screenshot. I have this thing with the /huh emote where I always absolutely need to take at least 1 screenshot with it in every new zone or event that I am in.

I have taken thousands of screenshots during my travels of Eorzea, and it was very hard to pick just one out of the countless images I have of my adventures. I could have done something cool looking, or funny, or beautiful, an achievement, or just pictures of friends I've met in my travels. But I've decided to pick this one. It is simple and not very impressive, but to me; Eorzea is more than everything I've done and seen. It is a story of change and growth, both within the characters and myself.

The Hardest Quest of All: Saying "I Do!" With My Gaming Family! Coil's Got Nothing!



We dedicated a video to Yoshi P for giving us marriage, and of course we had to have one! This was an incredibly exciting moment for our guild, and if this one wins we are taking the photo of his signature and enlarging it as big as it'll get. When our guild all meets for the first time at end of this year we're having as many people from this screenshot sign it too!
