I've been playing this game for a little over a year now. Thinking back on all the great experiences I've had in that time, it was hard to pick just one thing to highlight in a screenshot. But the above is probably the best thing I can put into one image.

A few months ago, I met Mara Mhasi on the right here, and we hit it off doing the relic questlines together for our main jobs. We spent many long nights together chatting while doing alexandrite FATE grinds and light farming groups and discovered we had a lot in common. This past March we got bonded, and are planning on meeting in person this summer.
She's been a great companion to me and I think of her as the best of all the great memories I have of ARR; I look forward to exploring Heavensward with her soon.

In all my time spent in FFXIV, most of it has been spent with my free company. We played another MMO previously, so moments with them aren't as defining because we all knew each other for so long before coming to Eorzea.

But what does stand out for me is the best and closest friend I've made outside my free company in this game, one U'leoh Tia. We met in a run of Lost City, and he left a good impression on me so I looked him up after and was delighted to find out he was also on Balmung. I went to say hi and we've been friends ever since. He's shown me another side to this game, and taken me farther in endgame activities with than I would have gotten on my own. I snapped this screen on a whim while we were between pony farms, and its become quite sentimental for me since.

It might sound weird because a lot of people think she's boring, but Kan-E-Senna is my very favorite NPC in the game, and has been since 1.0. I always thought she was really inspiring. Every time we had to visit the Lotus Stand in the 2.x saga, I would always be super psyched and run around and take lots of pictures because she's pretty and the Lotus Stand in general is pretty. Once 2.3 rolled around I tried to give her a hug...even before /hug existed! I hope we'll get to see more of her in the 3.x saga.

This was while I was pressing through the Black Mage Storyline. I've always loved dark and powerful characters in the FF franchise and this is one of my favorite moments during leveling Juste and his decent into darkness~

I was trying to get a picture of a colibri's special attack combined with a hit (preferrably critical) while doing the happy emote. I succeeded, however I liked this picture of me frolicking on the beach a lot better.

I happened upon this fellow while roaming the coastal areas of La Noscea. In the wake of the calamity following the battle of Carteneu, it brought joy to my heart to see a man of his caliber standing silent sentinel over Limsa's walls. As the sun sets on this age and we move forward into the next, may the realm ever be graced by those willing to put country before self in times of need.
