All you need to do is organize your members, create a promotional video for your free company, and upload your video to YouTube. Not only could you gain new members, but if your video is chosen, all the members of your free company will receive the exclusive Mandragora Choker in-game item!

FINAL FANTASY XIV (“Game”) Heavensward Free Company Recruitment Contest (“Contest”)

The Contest is only open to members of a Free Company who are existing holders of an active European Square Enix Account (“Service Account”) on 7 May, 2015 10:00 (GMT) who are resident in a PAL Territory Country*. Contestants who are residents of France or Spain should refer to the Additional Specific Provisions under these Rules relevant to their country of residence.

PLEASE READ THESE RULES (“Rules”) CAREFULLY. By submitting an entry to the Contest you agree to accept and be bound by these Rules and the terms of any policies referred to in these Rules. We reserve the right to cancel or amend the Contest at any stage if deemed necessary in our opinion and/or if circumstances arise which are outside of our control.

Theme
Create a video from in-game footage and promote your Free Company in preparation for the upcoming expansion, FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward (“Free Company Video”).

Entry Requirements
Contestants must possess an active Service Account and have access to a working internet connection and web browser in order to be able to enter. Contestants are responsible for all connection charges associated with the internet connection and subscription fees associated with the registration for a FINAL FANTASY XIV service account. Contestants must ensure that their contact information is correct at the time of registration for a Service Account, during and after submission of their Entry.

Contestants must accept our privacy policy and cookies policy located here. Contestants must have a permanent residence in a PAL Territory Country. Contestants under the age of 18 must obtain the permission of a legal guardian before submitting entries. The Contest is not open to employees, directors or other officers of Square Enix Europe or its respective affiliates, agents, media partners and suppliers.

How to Enter:

1. Create a video from in-game footage and promote your free company in order to recruit members for Heavensward.
2. Post your video* on YouTube.
3. Within the YouTube video description, list all of the music used during the Free Company Video in the order the tracks appear*.
4. After your video has been uploaded to YouTube, please reply to the appropriate World entry thread with a link to the video and be sure to include the following information in your post:

   a. Video URL
   b. Free Company name
   c. World
   d. Free Company master name (If your free company master has been inactive for a long period of time, please list a different character name)
   e. Main activity time
   f. An introduction for your Free Company and goals for Heavensward (up to 200 words)

*As per the Materials Usage License Agreement, videos may only include audio from FINAL FANTASY XIV. As such, Free Company Videos may only include music from the following official FFXIV soundtracks:

• Only one entry per Free Company.
• The master, or designated member, should submit the entry on behalf of the Free Company.
• Please consult with other members in your Free Company before submitting, if multiple entries are posted on YouTube, only the first one posted will be accepted.
• Entries cannot be edited after submission.
• Each entrant must agree to the Free Company Heavensward Recruitment Contest Rules applicable to their own region.
• General forum rules will still apply to all posts within the contest thread.
• Entry Free Company Video will be viewable publicly

Players must submit entries using the entry thread of the World they belong to. In addition, you must abide by the following guidelines when submitting your entry:

Accepted Entry Format

• Please use only in-game footage.
• Please be sure that any music complies with the terms of the Material Usage License Agreement found here.

Prize
We will be awarding up to ten (10) Free Companies from each FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn world (“Game World”) totalling up to six hundred and forty (640) Free Company winners (“Winners”) with the below FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn virtual prize (the “Prize”) for each member of their Free Company as at the entry cut-off date of the Contest:

* Prizes will be distributed via the in-game Moogle delivery service (which may be subject to change at our discretion). This is a virtual prize with no monetary value and cannot be sold or transferred.

Winner Selection
The FFXIV Development and Operations Teams will select ten (10) of the best entries from each Game World based on creativity and overall execution according to the criteria listed above. Winners will be announced on the forum on or after 29 June, 2015 (“Announcement Date”). Prizes will be delivered via the in-game Moogle delivery service. However the delivery method is subject to change.

We reserve the right to re-distribute any unclaimed Prizes. No cash alternative shall be provided in place of the Prize.

Inappropriate Submissions
Entries containing obscenity, vulgarity, discrimination, or any other offensive subject matter and/or containing any plagiarized or copyrighted material will not be considered by the judges. Entries which infringe upon copyright/intellectual property, personal credit, privacy, are counter to public order and/or morals, are judged to be grossly deviant from the established theme, do not contain all of the required information or contain erroneous information may face disqualification. Square Enix Europe reserves the right to judge whether or not material is appropriate for public display.

Additional Specific Provisions
Contestants resident in FRANCE:
In accordance with the 6th January 1978 data protection and freedom of information law n° 78-17, we inform you that you have the right to access, rectify and delete information concerning you, by requesting it in writing to the Promoter.

Contestants resident in SPAIN:
The name of the winner will be sent to anyone who requests the same within three (3) months of the Closing Date and by entering the Competition you hereby agree that the Promoter shall be permitted to do so if you are the winner. Requests should be made via the Square Enix Support Centre.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW SQUARE ENIX EUROPE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ENTRY THAT IS SUBMITTED TO THE CONTEST THAT INFRINGES THE COPYRIGHT OR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF A THIRD PARTY. In the event that an entry violates a third-party’s copyright, the user’s Service Account may be suspended or cancelled. All entries and other materials (the "Entry Materials") (including all copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights associated therewith) submitted by you become the property of Square Enix Europe upon submission, and Entry Materials will not be returned to any contestant. In consideration of our acceptance and review of your Entry Materials into the Contest, you hereby assign to Square Enix Europe absolutely all right, title and interest for the full duration of copyright in and to the Entry Materials throughout the world. Tema
Crear un vídeo a partir de imágenes del juego y promocionar la Free Company del concursante con vistas a la próxima expansión FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward (“Vídeo de la Free Company”).

Requisitos de admisión
Para poder participar en el Concurso, los concursantes deben ser titulares de una Cuenta de servicio en vigor, tener acceso a internet y a un navegador web. Los concursantes son responsables de todos los gastos asociados con la conexión a internet, así como de las cuotas de suscripción asociadas al registro de la cuenta de servicio de FINAL FANTASY XIV. Los concursantes deben asegurarse que la información de contacto facilitada sea correcta al abrir la Cuenta de servicio, durante y después de enviar la inscripción.

Al participar en el Concurso, los concursantes aceptan nuestras políticas de privacidad y cookies que podrán leer aquí. Los concursantes deben residir permanentemente en un país del territorio PAL. Los concursantes menores de 18 años deben contar con el permiso de su tutor legal antes de inscribirse. Forma de inscribirse:

1. Crear un vídeo a partir de imágenes del juego y promocionar la Free Company del concursante con vistas a reclutar miembros para Heavensward.
2. Publicar el vídeo* en YouTube.
3. Incluir en la descripción del vídeo en YouTube una lista con todas las canciones usadas en el vídeo de la Free Company en orden de aparición*.
4. Una vez que el vídeo se haya subido a YouTube, el concursante deberá publicar como respuesta en el hilo del mundo correspondiente el enlace al vídeo y la siguiente información:

d. Nombre del master de la Free Company (si el master de la Free Company ha estado inactivo desde hace mucho tiempo, deberá indicarse el nombre de otro personaje).
e. Principales horas de actividad.
f. Una presentación sobre la Free Company y sus objetivos para Heavensward (máximo 200 palabras).

• Los concursantes deberán aceptar las normas de la campaña de reclutamiento de las Free Companies de Heavensward relativas a su región.
• Se aplicarán las normas generales del foro a todas las respuestas publicadas en el hilo del Concurso.
• El vídeo de la Free Company será público.

Los jugadores deberán enviar sus inscripciones a través del hilo correspondiente al mundo al que pertenecen, ciñéndose a las directrices que se detallan a continuación:

• Los vídeos de las Free Companies publicados no deberán contar con restricciones de visionado privadas.

Premio
Premiaremos un máximo de diez (10) Free Companies en cada mundo de FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn (“Mundo del juego”), sumando un total máximo de seiscientas cuarenta (640) Free Companies ganadoras (“Ganadores”). Todos los miembros pertenecientes a las Free Companies ganadoras en la fecha tope para presentar las inscripciones al Concurso recibirán el siguiente premio virtual (el “Premio”) de FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn:

* Los Premios se distribuirán a través del servicio de mensajería del juego Moogle (que puede cambiar a nuestra discreción). Este es un premio virtual sin valor monetario y no puede venderse ni transferirse.

Periodo de inscripción
Del 7 de mayo de 2015 al 3 de junio de 2015 a las 14:59 (GMT).

Selección del ganador
El Development Team y el Operations Team de FFXIV seleccionarán las diez (10) mejores inscripciones de cada Mundo del juego basándose en la creatividad y realización según los criterios establecidos anteriormente. Los ganadores se anunciarán en el foro a partir del 29 de junio de 2015 (“Fecha del anuncio”). Los Premios se enviarán a través del servicio de mensajería del juego Moogle. No obstante, la forma de envío podría cambiar.

Nos reservamos el derecho de volver a distribuir los Premios no reclamados. No se ofrecerá ninguna alternativa en metálico en lugar del Premio.


Inscripciones no apropiadas
Los jueces no tendrán en consideración aquellas inscripciones que por su naturaleza contengan obscenidades, vulgaridades, discriminación o cualquier otro material afrentoso y/o que contengan algún material plagiado o protegido por derechos de autor. Las inscripciones que infrinjan derechos de autor/propiedad intelectual, crédito personal, privacidad, se opongan al orden público y/o moralidad, se juzguen se apartan extremadamente del tema establecido, no incluyan toda la información requerida o contengan información errónea podrán quedar descalificadas. Square Enix Europe se reserva el derecho de juzgar si algún material es apropiado o no para difundirse públicamente.

Cláusulas adicionales específicas
Concursantes residentes en FRANCIA:
Conforme a la ley 78-17 del 6 de enero de 1978 relativa a la informática, a los archivos y a las libertades, le informamos que tiene derecho a acceder, modificar y eliminar sus datos personales si así se lo solicita por escrito al Promotor.

Concursantes residentes en ESPAÑA:
Los nombres de los ganadores serán enviados a cualquiera que los solicite en un plazo de tres (3) meses de la Fecha tope y al participar en el Concurso por el presente usted acuerda que el Promotor tendrá permiso para hacerlo así si usted es el ganador. Las solicitudes de esta índole deben enviarse a través del Square Enix Support Centre.

LIMITACIÓN DE RESPONSABILIDAD E INDEMNIDAD
DENTRO DE LO PERMITIDO POR LA LEY SQUARE ENIX EUROPE NO SE HACE RESPONSABLE DE NINGUNA INSCRIPCIÓN ENVIADA AL CONCURSO QUE INFRINJA LOS DERECHOS DE AUTOR O LA PROPIEDAD INTELECTUAL DE UN TERCERO. USTED GARANTIZA Y ACEPTA QUE LA INSCRIPCIÓN QUE USTED ENVÍE SOLAMENTE INCLUIRÁ TRABAJO ORIGINAL SUYO Y QUE NO INFRINGIRÁ NI INTERFERIRÁ CON LOS DERECHOS DE AUTOR U OTROS DERECHOS DE NINGÚN TERCERO Y ACEPTA INDEMNIZAR A SQUARE ENIX EUROPE CONTRA CUALQUIER PÉRDIDA QUE PUEDA SURGIR A RESULTAS DE CUALQUIER VIOLACIÓN DE SU GARANTÍA.

En el caso de que alguna inscripción infrinja los derechos de autor de un tercero, la Cuenta de servicio del usuario podrá ser suspendida o cancelada. Todas las inscripciones, así como cualquier otro material (los "Materiales de inscripción") (incluidos todos los derechos de autor, marcas de fábrica y otros derechos de propiedad asociados a los mismos) que usted envíe se convierten en la propiedad de Square Enix Europe en el momento de ser enviados, y los Materiales de inscripción no se devolverán al concursante. En consideración de nuestra aceptación y examen de los Materiales de inscripción en el Concurso, por el presente usted cede a Square Enix Europe de manera absoluta todo derecho, título e interés para toda la duración del derecho de autor y de los Materiales de inscripción en todo el mundo. Sin perjuicio de todo lo anterior, usted reconoce que Square Enix Europe tendrá los derechos exclusivos para usar, modificar y producir obras derivadas de los Materiales de inscripción, sin ninguna remuneración separada para usted o para cualquier otra persona o entidad. Usted acuerda adoptar, por cuenta de Square Enix Europe, cualquier otra acción (incluyendo pero sin estar limitado a la ejecución de declaraciones juradas y otros documentos) que Square Enix Europe pueda solicitar razonablemente para poner en efecto, perfeccionar o confirmar los derechos de propiedad de Square Enix Europe indicados más arriba en este párrafo. Los concursantes solamente podrán utilizar los Materiales de inscripción para los fines del Concurso o para su visión privada, personal, no pública. Square Enix Europe podrá destruir los Materiales de inscripción que reciba en cualquier momento después de finalizado el Concurso.

Ley vigente
Estas Bases y todas o cualquier disputa que surjan de las mismas se regirán e interpretarán conforme a las leyes de Inglaterra y Gales.
