Hello everyone, I apologize if this question that I am about to ask have been asked already. What I am wondering is, what are decent programs, free of charge, that we can use to enable beginners or non beginners to enter the contest. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance :3

Bandicam is free. I've never used it since I've had fraps, but it works. Only thing is you have to put up with an ugly watermark on your video with the free version. (Unless they changed it, as it's been 4 years since I last looked for video recording software)

OBS (Open Broadcasting Software? Something like that) is another free piece of software that some Let's Play broadcasters use, but I don't know how well it works with FFXIV, nor do I know how newbie friendly it is.

i wish they would start hosting events you didn't need a specific set of skills to participate in. this is ridiculous.

A quick question: Is it alright if we only use half of a scene? Like to cut a scene short(Because some exceed 3 minutes) or so we can voice only one character? :]

So if the video is a little over 3 minutes, say 20 seconds or so. Does that still qualify?

The video must be 3 minutes or less, as mentioned in the rules.

Yes! You may cut a scene shorter to meet the contest requirements.

Any chance that this will be available for EU regions too?
