Animus books

Well we can nit pick all day, but lets look at this from the whole picture.

zenith takes a couple hours
Atma takes about 4 hours
novus takes a couple days
nexus takes a couple day
Zodiac is an exception as its a new weapon - took me about a week and 1/2
zeta takes 2 days

Now animus.. im on day 4 of pretty consistant grinding and still have 4 books to go. at this rate it will take me another 3 days for a total of a week

to get animus completed you need:
4500 Soldiery
27 dungeons
27 (still semi long wait timed) FATES
27 Leve quests that tend to be buried under other leves
900 mobs.. NINE HUNDRED!!!!

Now, looking at it from that perspective, with all the other relics and how long they take, and with Heavenward only 2 months away, this kind or a grind for a level 100 weapon is just obsurd in my opinion

Started playing late December on a free trial but subbed early Jan so I can give a new person perspective. I don't like them. I gave up and just got the i130 Ironworks Poetic weapon instead. Got so much other stuff I can do that is actually FUN. This is just a chore and bores me to tears. My opinion is I wouldn't bother with the weapon if you haven't already gotten past the book stage at this point. I'm planning on waiting and seeing what Heavensward has in store. SE would be insane to not include some form of massive catch up for new players at that point.

Kill ten of these mobs, by the way there's only three of them at a time, plus two other types of mobs that are useless to you.

Good work. Now go and kill ten of one of the other type of mobs in the exact same area you just were.

I did not mind the book phase too much honestly. Of course, this was the pre-nerf atma stage, so to be able to have a task and mark them off when completed seemed so much better than spending hours on FATES with nothing completed. Guess as each stage gets reduced, the other stages seem longer...

The Animus stage is the only reason I don't have 3-4 Zetas. Those books are just terrible content at this point.

Doing lvl 20 dungeons in i130 gear is just dumb.

The best thing they could do it nerf it to 4 books per Animus. (VIT,Main stat, secondary, secondary)

Zeta weapons will be useless in 60 days, no reason not to nerf them to the ground, especially an i100 stage.

and that's fast. Im sitting here at over two weeks still with a few books to go
