I ain't going t'waste much time here, so let's just get down t'business, shall we? I'm goin' to divide things into two parts - model auditions an' judge tryouts. First up, the models!

AUDITIONING AS A MODEL

To audition as a model, there's two things you have t'do. First off, take three shots and post them in this thread. The three shots required are as follows:

SHOT 1 - Scenic City-State
Take a shot of yourself in Limsa Lominsa, Gridania or Ul'Dah. I'll be looking at use of the background as well as model placement. Remember, the model should be the focus!

SHOT 2 - Action
Not a battle shot, as it has been before, but a general "action" shot. Model's choice - battle shots are still fine, but so is fishing, mining, crafting riding a chocobo, anything that captures a sense of motion.

SHOT 3 - Close-Up
A close up shot - try and show some of your personality in it too! No effects, please. The simpler the background the better! Below are two shots that demonstrate what I'm after - Rhaya's shot (the first one) is perfect in size, framing and background, while Keelah's (the second shot) is a great example of showing personality!

The second thing you have t'do is let me know who y'are! To do that, drop me a line at EorzeasNTMTyriont@gmail.com lettin' me know your name an' preferably givin' a link to your forum post. I'll be postin' from time t'time to verify which applicants I got messages from, because it's important t'note that postin' without also e-mailin' me will mean your application ain't valid! This's so as I can send out shot lists, instructions an' so on without wastin' time tryin' to track people down.

Now, some rules.

1) Images may not be altered in any way
This means no shoppin', no in-game mods, nothin' o' any sort. It ain't a requirement to have th'watermark in th'shot, so you can use tools like FRAPS or video capture t'get the shot you want, but I'll be able t'tell if you're tryin' to pull one past me!

Entering as multiple characters is allowed, but only one can be selected
If you want to try out as several alts, go ahead. But do so in one post, as only one of 'em will be chosen to move on.

You can caption your shots
Not actually editin' them, as mentioned above. But since it'll be allowed in th'main contest, I'm goin' to allow you t'submit a caption with each shot. Th'only limit is that captions have t'be limited to one sentence.

The deadline is 11:59pm EST Sunday, April 12th

How many models am I castin'? Well, that's my secret for now, ain't it? I will say there's no requirements based on gender, race or anythin' like that. Literally everyone is eligible t'apply!

AUDITIONING AS A MODEL

My current plan is t'have four judges, in addition t'myself. Based on feedback from Cycle 3, I'm auditionin' for judges to see how they do with givin' feedback. I've put three shots below. If you're interested in judgin', I want you t'send me a paragraph-long critique o' each of the three shots, as well as th'set as a whole. Deadline is th'same as for th'models.
