PLEASE READ THESE RULES (“Rules”) CAREFULLY. By submitting an entry to the Contest you agree to accept and be bound by these Rules and the terms of any policies referred to in these Rules. We reserve the right to cancel or amend the Contest at any stage if deemed necessary in our opinion and/or if circumstances arise which are outside of our control.


Theme – Create your own dish!
Create a FFXIV-themed food dish (“Dish”), and post a photograph of your entry on the forums.

Entry Requirements
Contestants must possess an active Service Account and have access to a working internet connection and web browser in order to be able to enter. Contestants are responsible for all connection charges associated with the internet connection and subscription fees associated with the registration for a FINAL FANTASY XIV service account. Contestants must ensure that their contact information is correct at the time of registration for a Service Account, during and after submission of their Entry.

Contestants must accept our privacy policy and cookies policy located here. Contestants must have a permanent residence in a PAL Territory Country. Contestants under the age of 18 must obtain the permission of a legal guardian before submitting entries. The Contest is not open to employees, directors or other officers of Square Enix Europe or its respective affiliates, agents, media partners and suppliers.

How to Enter
Following the theme, take a photograph of your Dish* and post it as a reply to this Forum thread with a brief comment. Only one entry per person. If multiple entries are posted, only the first one submitted will be accepted. Entries utilising FINAL FANTASY XIV graphics or other in-game resources will be disqualified.

Entries must contain the following information:

1. Name of the FFXIV-themed food dish
2. Character name
3. World name
4. Photo(s) showing the Dish being created (Up to five (5) photos will be permitted)
5. One (1) photo of the finished Dish
6. Proof of originality by including the Contestant’s character name, World name, and title of the creation somewhere within the Photo of the Dish

* Entry image will be viewable publicly

Accepted Entry Format
Picture Resolution: The height and width can be no larger than 1024 pixels each*. Picture Format must be either JPEG or PNG. The entry must be an original work that is being publicised for the first time for this contest.
* A photograph may not be accepted if its resolution or aspect ratio deviates greatly from that prescribed.


Prize
We will be awarding:
(i) Five (5) grand prize winners across all forum languages (English/French/German) with the following FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn in game items each (the “Grand Prize”):

ONE (1) FINAL FANTASY XIV A Realm Reborn in-game “Bluebird Earring”* and THREE HUNDRED (300) FINAL FANTASY XIV A Realm Reborn in-game “Skyrocket” item; and

(ii) Twenty five (25) winners from each forum language (English/French/German) totalling seventy five (75) prize winners with the below FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn in-game item each (the “Prize”):

ONE (1) FINAL FANTASY XIV A Realm Reborn in-game “Bluebird Earring”*

The Prize and the Grand Prize together referred to as the “Prize”.

*No cash alternative shall be provided in place of the Prize. Please note that prizes are transferable only to the characters linked to a Contestant’s Service Account.

Winner Selection
The FFXIV EU Community Team will select the best entries based on overall creativity. Winners will be announced on the forum on 26 March, 2015 (“Announcement Date”). Prizes will be delivered to each winner via the in-game Moogle delivery service which may be subject to change at our discretion.

We reserve the right to re-distribute any unclaimed Prizes. Winners will be selected globally, and there is a possibility that entries from EU regions are not chosen. No cash alternative shall be provided in place of the Prize.

Inappropriate Submissions
Entries containing obscenity, vulgarity, discrimination, or any other offensive subject matter and/or containing any plagiarized or copyrighted material will not be considered by the judges. Entries which infringe upon copyright/intellectual property, personal credit, privacy, are counter to public order and/or morals, are judged to be grossly deviant from the established theme, are not an original work by the Contestant, do not contain all of the required information or contain erroneous information may face disqualification. Square Enix Europe reserves the right to judge whether or not material is appropriate for public display.

Additional Specific Provisions
Contestants resident in FRANCE:
In accordance with the 6th January 1978 data protection and freedom of information law n° 78-17, we inform you that you have the right to access, rectify and delete information concerning you, by requesting it in writing to the Promoter.

Contestants resident in SPAIN:
The name of the winner will be sent to anyone who requests the same within three (3) months of the Closing Date and by entering the Competition you hereby agree that the Promoter shall be permitted to do so if you are the winner. Requests should be made via the Square Enix Support Centre.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW SQUARE ENIX EUROPE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ENTRY THAT IS SUBMITTED TO THE CONTEST THAT INFRINGES THE COPYRIGHT OR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF A THIRD PARTY. YOU WARRANT AND AGREE THAT YOUR ENTRY WILL CONTAIN WORK THAT IS ENTIRELY ORIGINAL TO YOU AND DOES NOT INFRINGE OR INTERFERE WITH ANY THIRD PARTY COPYRIGHT OR OTHER RIGHTS AND YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY SQUARE ENIX EUROPE AGAINST ANY LOSS ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF YOUR WARRANTY.

In the event that an entry violates a third-party’s copyright, the user’s Service Account may be suspended or cancelled. All entries and other materials (the "Entry Materials") (including all copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights associated therewith) submitted by you become the property of Square Enix Europe upon submission, and Entry Materials will not be returned to any contestant. In consideration of our acceptance and review of your Entry Materials into the Contest, you hereby assign to Square Enix Europe absolutely all right, title and interest for the full duration of copyright in and to the Entry Materials throughout the world. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you acknowledge that Square Enix Europe will own all rights to use, modify, and make derivative works of the Entry Materials, without separate compensation to you or any other person or entity. You agree to take, at Square Enix Europe's expense, any further action (including, without limitation, execution of affidavits and other documents) reasonably requested by Square Enix Europe to effect, perfect, or confirm Square Enix Europe's ownership rights as set forth above in this paragraph. Governing Law
These Rules and all or any dispute arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Tema: crea tu propio plato
Crear un plato culinario (“Plato”) con la temática de FFXIV y publicar una fotografía en los foros.

Requisitos de admisión
Para poder participar en el Concurso, los concursantes deben ser titulares de una Cuenta de servicio en vigor, tener acceso a internet y a un navegador web. Los concursantes son responsables de todos los gastos asociados con la conexión a internet, así como de las cuotas de suscripción asociadas al registro de la cuenta de servicio de FINAL FANTASY XIV. Los concursantes deben asegurarse que la información de contacto facilitada sea correcta al abrir la Cuenta de servicio, durante y después de enviar la inscripción.

Al participar en el Concurso, los concursantes aceptan nuestras políticas de privacidad y cookies que podrán leer aquí. Los concursantes deben residir permanentemente en un país del territorio PAL. Los concursantes menores de 18 años deben contar con el permiso de su tutor legal antes de inscribirse. El Concurso no está abierto a los empleados, directores u otros ejecutivos de Square Enix Europe ni de sus filiales, agentes, socios mediáticos y proveedores.

Forma de inscribirse
En base al tema, el concursante deberá tomar una fotografía de su Plato* y publicarla como respuesta en este hilo del Foro acompañada por un breve comentario. Las inscripciones están limitadas a una por concursante. En caso de que el concursante publique múltiples inscripciones solamente se aceptará la primera. Las inscripciones que utilicen imágenes de FINAL FANTASY XIV u otros recursos procedentes del juego serán descalificadas.

Las inscripciones deben contener la siguiente información:
1. Nombre del plato con la temática de FFXIV.
2. Nombre del personaje.
3. Nombre del mundo.
4. Foto(s) de la creación del Plato (se admitirán un máximo de cinco (5) fotos).
5. Una (1) foto del Plato acabado.
6. Como prueba de originalidad el concursante deberá incluir el nombre de su personaje, el nombre del mundo y el título de su creación en algún lugar dentro de la foto del Plato.


* La imagen de la inscripción será pública.

Formato aceptado para las inscripciones
Resolución de la imagen: el alto y el ancho no pueden superar los 1024 píxeles cada uno*. El formato de la imagen deberá ser JPEG o PNG. La inscripción debe consistir en una creación original que se presenta en público por primera vez para este concurso.
* Si la resolución o la relación de aspecto difieren considerablemente de lo establecido la fotografía podría no ser aceptada.

Premio
Seleccionaremos:
(i) A cinco (5) ganadores en los foros de todos los idiomas (inglés/francés/alemán) y cada uno recibirá los siguientes objetos para el juego FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn (el “Primer premio”):

UN (1) “Bluebird Earring”* para el juego FINAL FANTASY XIV A Realm Reborn y TRESCIENTOS (300) “Skyrocket” para el juego FINAL FANTASY XIV A Realm Reborn.

(ii) A veinticinco (25) ganadores en cada uno de los foros (inglés/francés/alemán), que suman un total de setenta y cinco (75) ganadores, cada uno de los cuales recibirá el siguiente objeto para el juego FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn (el “Premio”):

Periodo de inscripción
Desde las 09:00 de la mañana (GMT) el 4 de marzo de 2015 hasta las 10:00 de la mañana (GMT) del 23 de marzo de 2015.

Selección del ganador
El Community Team de FFXIV EU seleccionará las mejores inscripciones basándose en la creatividad de las mismas. Los ganadores se anunciarán en el foro el 26 de marzo de 2015 (“Fecha del anuncio”). Los ganadores recibirán sus premios a través del servicio de mensajería del juego Moogle, sujeto a cambios a nuestra discreción.

Nos reservamos el derecho de volver a distribuir los Premios no reclamados. Los ganadores se seleccionarán a nivel global y es posible que las inscripciones europeas no resulten elegidas. No se ofrecerá ninguna alternativa en metálico en lugar del Premio.

Inscripciones no apropiadas
Los jueces no tendrán en consideración aquellas inscripciones que por su naturaleza contengan obscenidades, vulgaridades, discriminación o cualquier otro material afrentoso y/o que contengan algún material plagiado o protegido por derechos de autor. Las inscripciones que infrinjan derechos de autor/propiedad intelectual, crédito personal, privacidad, se opongan al orden público y/o moralidad, se juzguen se apartan extremadamente del tema establecido, no sean una creación original del concursante, no incluyan toda la información requerida o contengan información errónea podrán quedar descalificadas. Square Enix Europe se reserva el derecho de juzgar si algún material es apropiado o no para difundirse públicamente.

Cláusulas adicionales específicas
Concursantes residentes en FRANCIA:
Conforme a la ley 78-17 del 6 de enero de 1978 relativa a la informática, a los archivos y a las libertades, le informamos que tiene derecho a acceder, modificar y eliminar sus datos personales si así se lo solicita por escrito al Promotor.

Concursantes residentes en ESPAÑA:
Los nombres de los ganadores serán enviados a cualquiera que los solicite en un plazo de tres (3) meses de la Fecha tope y al participar en el Concurso por el presente usted acuerda que el Promotor tendrá permiso para hacerlo así si usted es el ganador. Las solicitudes de esta índole deben enviarse a través del Square Enix Support Centre.

LIMITACIÓN DE RESPONSABILIDAD E INDEMNIDAD
DENTRO DE LO PERMITIDO POR LA LEY SQUARE ENIX EUROPE NO SE HACE RESPONSABLE DE NINGUNA INSCRIPCIÓN ENVIADA AL CONCURSO QUE INFRINJA LOS DERECHOS DE AUTOR O LA PROPIEDAD INTELECTUAL DE UN TERCERO. En el caso de que alguna inscripción infrinja los derechos de autor de un tercero, la Cuenta de servicio del usuario podrá ser suspendida o cancelada.
