Recruitment for all roles is now closed. Thank you for those who have shown interest in applying or have applied. May the Final Coil be ready for us!
Hello, and welcome. Are you looking for a FCoB static to get into? Look no further, for we in the Serpent's Isle linkshell static are recruiting for players to progress with us! We are a freshly made group with a core of cool, skilled players who enjoy playing the game. Here is a run-down of what we are looking for:
Roles Recruiting For
- White Mage
General Requirements
- You must be able to communicate effectively in English. It doesn't have to be your native tongue, but this static is primarily Anglophone in which all communication will be conducted in.
- Possess at least a high level of understanding regarding your role and be able to play it well.
- Be of mature mindset: take criticism into consideration while not being overly critical of others, and be able to work (and in some cases laugh) together as a team.
- Able to use TeamSpeak 3 and a device that makes your voice sound clear. No ghetto/broken/static-plagued mics allowed.
- Have a reliable internet connection.
- Available to raid on Tuesdays to Fridays, and Saturdays around 6PM-10PM server time (10AM-2PM PST), and able to raid about 6 to 9 hours a week for progression.
- Able to let the static know if something should come up and you won't be able to make it for a raid day. This gives us time to prepare for finding a sub to fill in, but keep in mind that this shouldn't be a regular occurrence.
- Must have cleared T9. Experience in any of the FCoB turns is an asset, but not required.
- Average of iLv. 110 with an iLv. 110 weapon minimum. Higher iLv. average and weapon is a plus.
- Be able to supply your own food and potions, be it crafting them yourself, getting them from the market board, or acquiring the services of a crafter.
Here are some questions you will be expected to answer should you apply for the static:
WHM Role
- List each secondary stat from the most to least important for WHM, and why.
- How good are you when it comes to pre-casting spells?
- How well do you manage your MP? At what point(s) would you ask for Mage's Ballad? Would you ask for it to be played during a (tight) DPS check?
- Do you feel comfortable assisting with DPS during times in a fight where damage is light--during healing downtime?
Should you be interested, leave a post here or send a tell to me in-game. I look forward to hearing from you!
