Child/Teenager Characters

They are really cute and cool and I know it will most likely never happen but I wish we could play as them! I mean FF13 had Hope lol... Is there anyone else who would like this also? Just curious.. Heres a screenshot for those of you who dont know what im talking about.. This pic is in Uldah but there are also some in Gridania too...

Going out on a limb here, I think this would be cool. I don't think it'll happen, but I am all for it.

I remember when this image first came out : final fantasy xiv, it looked like the hyur at the front is a young boy. Back then, I saw threads of people hoping and speculating we could perhaps choose an age for our characters (young, young adult, adult, older). Would have been great!

On that note, I'm hoping we see some young Roegadyn and child Lalafells around cities down the line. They made for some interesting npcs in XI with their equivalents (Star Onion Brigade in XIV!).

Yeah Im not holding my breath on it but it would be pretty awesome to be a young Elezen or Hyur or one of the oracle kids in Gridania

I don't think they'd fit into the game as playable characters. Just don't seem up to the task of running around adventuring and crafting fine items and gear, fighting dragons, w/e else, etc.. Just like a morbidly obese person or a 95 year old granny wouldn't fit in either. As npc's, yeah sure, they're fine... But not as the playable adventurers. :P

Well throughout many final fantasy games there have been youth characters.. even in final fantasy 4 (2) we had Polom and Porom the 2 mage kids who accompanied you on your journey.. then there was Gau in Final Fantasy 6 (3) The feral kid. Vivi was considered a child and in 13 we have Hope. I think they would blend in nicely but to each there own .. Im at least happy we will get Male Miqote and female Roedgyn
