Node is being racist, should I report it?

So I kept wondering why I had this weird bug on the Northern Thanalan cobalt node... I was supposed to get my extra-attempt but it kept giving me 4. And that's when I realized.

This node does not provide the extra attempt with gathering or perception stats, but with... strength. 202, more precisely. But Lalafells have can't have more than 200 STR!

Needless to say, I did immediately /beckon back Shantotto for good measure, and she split the mountain in two with a well-placed Quake. Now, now, what to do with these 250,000 cobalt ore which fell in my inventory?

Is that actually true though? Seems strange for SE to make it so that one or two races can't take advantage of a node. Given

the rpecedence set by the rest of the game.

I realized the same thing only a few days ago despite having farm that node possibly a hundred times over the past year, a node where I needed just 2 points more in what I think was Mind, to be able to get the bonus. It's not game breaking by far, but it still feel kind of dumb, all the other required stats can be reached simply by leveling up and getting better gear but those stay out of reach. I guess each race has their special node to make them feel privileged.

Reminds me of a racial penalty in LOTRO. Hobbit characters would swim through puddles (very slow speed) vs every other race that would just wade through the water as if it wasn't even there. I think it was unintended there and this STR bug for lalafell is probably unintended here.

Samething happened in tera. My elin couldnt gather certain quest items if they were under water

The nodes affected by stats are the Mining node in North Thanalan (requires 202 STR) and the Botany node in South Thanalan (reqired 202 INT). As a Moon miqote I am 2 STR and 1 INT short of meeting these requrements. Previously when gathering I would swap out a ring for a DD ring. When I got my Foragers gear, I actually melded a STR and INT materia to my gloves to meet the cap. So I wouldn’t have to fiddle with rings

Since the greatest a stat deviation can be is 3 I would have thought SE would have made the requirements the natural base (202) less three (so 199), but they didn't, so we just gotta deal with it by melding or gear swap

Being a Keeper I had to do this.

And 1 INT on my botany gear.
