Can we please have other ways to get the pony mounts?

Pretty much the only thing I do besides final coil, is join PF or DF for extreme primal runs. For all my work I only have a nightmare and the garuda pony.

I very much would like to collect them all but winning the roll vs 7 other people on about a 10% drop rate item means you have to be very lucky to get them all.

Some ideas.
1. Buy them on Mogstation.
2. Winnable at Goldensaucer
3. Buy them with Rowena's tokens from the old primal quest, I would say 9 is a good amount get one every 3 weeks.

Or make it similiar as diamond dust system like you need collect 50 diamond dust and then you can buy the pony or something like that. Then it would be 50 runs / pony and not depends so much abaut luck but still need effort into it.

nah why bother, put it in the cash shop, put everything in the cash shop, then we don't have to bother playing and it will eliminate all the arguments like hunts being early pulled, casual/elitist arguments, and everything else, and we will all be happy

Please no more tokens, this game got too many tokens that nothing except coil loot feels rewarding. The loot is losing its purpose when you don't feel happy about it..
I'm also a bit upset that they upped the drop rate, the mounts were supposed to feel rare and if you got one you'd feel extremly happy, now it's like "oh another mount, oh i rolled 5 again, oh well it will drop again soon"

There need to be rare loot because if you're done with relic and beaten all primals, there's not much else to do but do dungeons for poetics gear which only people that do coil need anyway.

1. No. No need to explain it.
2. Yes. Alternatives are good, so you don't have to play 24/7 the same thing. That doesn't mean that it would be easier, it would simply be another way to get them.
3. Yes. We would have another use for those tokens that we no longer use anymore. Useful for those with really bad luck, too.

They should just drop every time 100%, like the Ultros and Enkidu minions. You still need to collect many ponies, and still need to win a roll between 8 people on all of them. That's still probably 50-150 extreme primal battles.

I think the intention of the ponies is to get people re-do old content so the newcomers don't struggle to find a party. However

1) Pony farm parties usually don't take newbies
2) If people win said pony, they're likely to leave, this is the reason I stopped farming them altogether.
I've seen over 10 Garuda ponies come and go and I was just fed up with people getting their mount and going "k thx bai"/"gtg baby on fire".

So yes I do feel an alternative way, may it be kill an achievement to kill a said primal 100 times or whatever, is very much in place. I'd gladly have a bit less RNG and douchebaggery and a bit more to actually look forward to.

While I don't mind the cash shop selling old seasonal items or the occasional cash shop-only mount like sleipnir, I would have to say I disagree with making something like the primal horses more easily attainable. Unlike making gear more attainable for the good of player progression, to do so with these mounts that some people have put an enormous amount of effort into getting would be a kick in the balls. Some things should be left as a badge of accomplishment, as these are, and to do otherwise would cheapen the experience for everyone. There's nothing more toxic to a game than that sense of "oh well why should I even bother playing when some rich kid can just buy everything I'd have to work hard achieve?" Keep cash shop vanity separate from achievement vanity.

They already put Kirin in, which is an achievement mount you get from acquiring the other pony mounts, so doing any of these things kind of defeats the purpose.
