Ps3 Client Will Not Launch Properly

Been having this problem for the past week.

After clicking on the ps3 client of FFXIV, the screen goes black as if it was launching, sometimes even the music plays, but then one of many possible errors appears, ranging between "Logged out of PSN" and "Unable to complete Version Check" and random error codes, all of which we've sent error reports for and have spent days looking for solutions to. All other online games work, the internet is fine, and we can play everything except FFXIV.

Occasionally, and more rarely as time passes, it will suddenly let us through to play, after a few hours of constant trying, but more often than not, its a deep seated struggle and aggravating dilemma. We've dealt with ISP and DNS errors, reset routers, uninstalled and reinstalled the client and many other 'solutions' that haven't worked.

So like...whats the deal? Why can't we play?

More often than anything, we are getting this message:

"Unable to complete version check.
[24530][10009][19900][-2140077822]"

Sorry for the double post, but we're I'm totally out of options here.
This has been going on for about two weeks nothing I have tried has worked.
