Kind of feels as if this rod was added a bit too soon on top of Ironworks rod, or that it's out of place speaking effort;reward.
Lucis: 30 HQ items that you have to fish up, which have an incredibly high bite rate in contrast to everything else fishing. 60 items from leves or other source. Second item doesn't actually require you to fish at all.. Same with the Moonstones.
Ironworks: Catch 106 legendary fish, most of which have typically absurd conditions and are difficult to get bites on, much less land.
I don't know about you, but doing something that encompasses doing basically everything fishing, meaning every different spot, every different possible condition, every different bait, learning how things work inside and out, should probably yield the higher end reward. Having this rod essentially means you caught everything bar 6 fish that you're allowed to skip. 106/112 are required. That means you went to probably every spot in the game, and experienced the entirety of what fishing has to offer.
I'm not demanding a change, but rather to pique a thought that maybe this wasn't the greatest idea, and could stand to see Ironworks rod on top, where it seems it should be. As it stands, the biggest perk you get for getting it is that it can be bought for retainers from the Calamity NPC. It doesn't look particularly amazing, so vanity doesn't seem to have been a focus either.
