I dunno if the OP hurt someone, I'm just just tired of people complaining about everything in todays gaming world when something does not fall into their liking And yes I know that it's not EVERYone, but many do.

Its true games are meant to be enjoyed, but in this day and age businesses have found that if they can keep their customers sated they come back. I don't think the official forums is a good place for someone who doesn't want to see their game bagged on lol. A thing I think helps stay from being down is that just because someone has a complaint you see, they probably have many more praises or they are terrible with their money. SE has the best compliment from me, I'm paying them - it means I think they're worth it.

And If you said this is minor feedback and doesn't destroy the game, I'd agree - but I don't think there needs to be a metric of "oh you can't post that because it doesn't ruin the game enough" so long as you're not ripping the devs or other players a new one of course.

Grekumah's comment makes sense that people want to emulate something they love, it is a world view perspective of course. My comment to Grekumah was thanks for at least addressing this and thinking about it in the future, I didn't say "STFU SE" lol. Doesn't mean I'm not going silently boo everyone trying to be the great Highlander race lol. Although I guess I do that in real life too, I have a "don't be me, be you" annoyance with copying XD.

No one, to my knowledge, is raging butt hurt :P - though I do find it a bit disconcerting that place for feedback and general discussion to the game is being attacked for following purpose to the forums (this is not really new, happens all the time ;/).

To be honest I did not know that only the Hyurs have unique animations between clans before this, so I didn't know about 200 animations not existing ... lol. The /pose has been a favorite of mine before Hildibrand but he and Godbert did make me feel giddy to be Highlander. I'm sorry if it sounds like "no you can't comment, its not in my opinion" lol. I absolutely agree that hearing complaints a lot can get you down, but at the same time I don't think it is fair to just walk into a place of discussion for purposes like this and then say "today, I'm done hearing complaints you guys need to stop - cause you're all a bunch of greedy babies". When no one was crying, didn't have to be part of the thread, we're paying (hard to be selfish when you're in a reciprocating relationship), and everyone else gets to enjoy a great gain (our pose is epic) that depending on perspective was no gain to us or at least "slight modification".

Though you haven't really been that bad, or said greedy - to my knowledge. Pretty much rant that I don't feel you deserved /over. XD, Come to Balmung and we'll share some Triple Cream Coffee and Bacon Bread :P.

On a related subject lol, Warframe introduced thematic animations to the frames - would be kind of fun to be able to pick a theme for your character, and combine the animations together (walks, runs, idles, poses). There, iirc, were something like Noble, Agile, and Default. If I could I like to bring world view into things so in essence I agree with you, and sharing animations makes sense (just finish the job then lol). I just don't see that happening because SE has in the past and at least thus far used animations as one of the distinguishing factors of races and SE games in general keep a tight control on visuals, so while fun to evaluate it in a "this is real like" the game has its own majority view that disagrees so feeling like a dynamic has changed (I feel) is accurate.

Well, that's not likely to change anytime soon. Realizing that, you're left with two options: a) skip/ignore the threads you don't like, or b) take offense to them and start an argument that drags said thread out for many more pages than it otherwise would have been.

So far you seem to be opting for the latter in a big way.

During the recent Niconico Chokaigi, Yoshi-P commented that they're moving forward with making a male Highlander-exclusive emote! This is being developed alongside other tasks at the moment so we don't have a firm date, so we would appreciate if you can hang in there a bit longer!

They don't do this because of the Pavlov-effect it has. They want to discourage people gathering together for every single thing ingame by visibly responding to everything that gets a lot of community attention (and let's be honest, the internet is filled with principly inclined people :P). That's how community management works even if we don't like it.

It's a bit of give and take, otherwise people will start to expect a response every time something gets a lot of attention. This would make people gather on forums even more and faster, think snowball effect, making CM's job (eventually) only chasing popular threads to respond to them and not having time to do all their other background tasks. They'd need to increase the team size constantly and in the long run it would be bad for the community if they visibly respond to everything that gets a lot of attention as it would make us spoiled. Just imagine, having to hear constantly that they did read something, but can't find the time to actually work on the concerns isn't good either, it would just make us frustrated. They do plenty in the background though, actually noticing all these threads. You'll find plenty of "suddenly fixed" things in patch notes that garnered lots of attention on the forum but have had no actual worded reply on there. That's why they constantly keep telling us they do actually read and notice everything. Often though, they can't exactly see how something would fit in a schedule, or if they can fix things properly at all. Even saying they're looking into something in that case is being read as "they're actually working on it", as if it's a promise in between the lines. The internet loves reading in between the lines even when something isn't there.

Long story short it's a case of blessed are the ignorant in (quite) some matters, even if we don't like it. It means we can focus on less negative things and move on. Trust me, if CMs would respond to every single thing we'd all become depressed constantly unhappy customers in the long run, and that's not good for both us and the game.

They aren't getting ignored. The CMs simply aren't going to respond in the threads when they don't have any real news to present on the topics of those threads. Devs tend to hold info on changes close to their chests until they are very sure about changes. Even when they are looking into something it can take a very long time for things being worked on to result in an outcome that warrants informing the playerbase. Hell even this topic took over a year.
