    Persistent dance emotes while AFK.

    Please modify the persistent dance emotes such as /manderville to automatically turn off after a reasonable period (perhaps 2 minutes). Our server, Diabolos, has a number of players that have decided that their idea of fun is to go AFK for literally hours or days at a time in the middle of the main road in Revenant's Toll while doing the Manderville - three or four players are usually there, including one player who is there at almost every hour of the day or night. Revenant's Toll is already extremely slow to load all objects for PS3 players, such as retainers and the daily quest characters, and it seems that the more people join this AFK dance spam, the slower the load times get.

    Persistent dance emotes are my life!

    Total Play Time: 843 days, 7 hours, 11 minutes

    I dance and a good 2-3 hours a day I watch my character dance... Rest of the time I just feel good knowing limsa lominsa lower decks has 2 adorable lalafells doing the songbird dance with a kind grampa watching over them.

    While I see your point and understand the annoyance, PS3 support has been stopped.
    This Issue seems to only appear on your PS3 (needs more testing on other platforms) and therefore a support call only for PS3 seems unlikely. Still going to like your post and hope for a solution!

    I wouldn't worry too much, the thread was made back in 2015 and PS3 players are a thing of the past. Loading objects can still be a little issue on PS4 but nothing that serious though, but it's vast improvement from the previous platform.

    Well the cats out of the bad grave now...

    A fairly straightforward fix for this complaint would be a toggle to turn off persistent e-motes client side.

    This being a client side setting means that if you made use of this feature, only you would see dozens of people standing motionless in Limsa Lominsa.
    If you left persistent emotes on, you would see the dance party.

    Existing features like this: battle effect settings, shadow settings, movement physics settings. All such options affect client side rendering only.
