Alright so I know about the issue with alt tabbing out of fullscreen. I've known about that for a very long time. Today, I tried to play on my laptop for the first time which has Optimus and a GeForce 555M. I play in windowed and a few seconds in to the game, or even as I'm loading after selecting my character, it will crash. It gives me the "Unable to detect Directx device" error as if I had alt tabbed. I find this very odd, as I'm playing windowed. Anyone have insight?

Did you disable DWM? DWM+Optimus= 100% crash

Really late reply, but thank you very much. Totally fixed the issue! Though.. Windows doesn't look nearly as cool.. hehe. Still, thanks!

It does that if you don't set your anti-aliasing to 2x in FF settings. Hope this helps.
