    Activemovie window?

When i was trying to see certain cutscene from one instance, the game did minimize and the Activemovie window appeared to show the video, instead showing the video on FFXIV itself. Is not a big deal, but i know it should be playing on FFXIV instead on a new window... any idea how to fix it? ><

I'm using Windows 7 and some friends told me to add FFXIV.exe to ffdshow's exception list, but Activemovie Window keeps appearing again when i want to see that video

Uninstall your badly made custom codec pack, none of the decent ones should do this, FFDSHOW can decode FFXIV's movies in the same window/screen just fine.

This appears to be caused by a third party filter for VMR9 content, the video's for FFXIV are WMV files encoding in VMR9.

Lot of cases of this online, but very few resolutions, most of the time it seems to be resolved by switching codec packages

I use ffdshow for VMR9 myself, but i believe its via the lav filter.
