Loot Bag Power Brick Broken?

Has anyone managed to use the power brick they got in their loot bags? I charged mine up for the 8 hours it says on the box but it only charges my phone for about 10 minutes before shutting off. I think I might have been given a broken one, if anyone at SE is reading this is there anyway I can send mine to HQ for a replacement?

Perhaps you already tried this, but just to be sure, you have to turn it on with the silver button on where the text is printed. I charged my phone just fine with it. I saw a lot of people charing their phones at fan fest too. It didn't require to be charged at all, which was kind of handy.

it didnt come fully charged though,. or else it would have held my iphone active for more time....

what mine di though. if I have it plugged to my iphone and do something with the iphone while using it, it gets really really warm and than shuts itself off. but can be switched on right away

Just gonna throw this out there. External power devices in general need a data enabled cord to opperate. They are more like charging off a pc than a wall. If you are using a cheap power only cord (which most of these come packaged with oddly enough) they will charge sub optimally or not at all.

Yeah, I think the biggest issue as Lollie stated is the cheap cord that was included. If you use the USB that likely came with your phone or device it should work just fine. My whole group of 14 or so people experienced the same issues with the included cord but were fine when they switched to their own cords.
