Returning player seeking info and home

Due to some circumstances I had to stop playing.early on release. Now I'm looking to come back, what should I expect. I am a 50 pld, cook, and armorer. I left on Garuda in terms of progression and haven't played since last November. Also I am looking for an active guild to join on leviathan. What changes have been made to the game and I terms of progression?

Lots of quests have been added, Extreme versions of The Primals as well, second coil ( 3rd and final coil comes next week)
and gear has been increased ti ilv110. Relic weapon is now called Nexus. So it was Relic> Zenith> Atma> Animus> Novus> Nexus
Atma if you have not heard about it requires you to spam fates in different areas with your Zenith weapon equipped and you receive atmas at random.
Once you receive 12 the weapon is upgraded to atma. It's a rather long process to get to Novus. they have also introduced a hunts system were you can find different ranks of enemies and get different rewards ( can even be used to purchase myth gear or the newest gear called soldiery)
Philo tomes are obsolete and myth will soon be as well.
New dungeons have been added that are hard mode versions of previous dungeons( requires you to be level 60 with gear if i recall) Stone Vigil Hard Mode, Tam Tara hard Mode, city of Amdapor, and the one i enjoy most which is completely new haulbreaker isle. Also i do not recall if King Moggle was back last November, ugh my memory so there is that as well. New Primals Leviathan and Ramuh were introduced as well and Extreme versions as well. crafters have way more recipes now. Oh and next week is 2.4 which will see new Class Rogue and job Ninja along with new dungeons and Primal Shiva.
