Ixal Vendor-Can't purchase?

I just reached "Trusted" rank with the Ixal. I thought I could buy new stuff from the vendor, but he says I'm still at "Friendly" rank. I'm really confused. Is this bugged? I did the quest to get to Trusted rank and in my character reputation it shows me as "Trusted". Am I missing something?

(I don't have all the other beast tribes at Trusted. Only the Sylphs. Not sure if that makes a difference?)

This happened to me, also. The vendor did start selling me items within a 24 hour period without my having to do anything else, though, so maybe the word of the bird travels more slowly than the words of other beast tribes.

Ixali have more total ranks than any other beast tribe so you can't compare the ranks directly and assume that same things will happen. I bet it was not a thing of 24 hours but a thing of reaching the next higher rank on the next day in your case, Valarian.

New items are only available for purchase at every other rank starting at 1, so the next time the buy option shows for the next rank will not be until you reach 3, then 5 and so on.

hmm I guess it would be Rank 5 then? According to every site I've looked at, it says I should be able to purchase the minion at the "Trusted" rank (Rank 4) which I now am. If what you say is true Eye_Gore, then those sites mistakenly listed the wrong rank (probably assumed it based on the other beast tribes).

@TomTom - The only thing about that is you can't reach the next rank in one day with the daily limitations. And she did say it changed without her having to do anything.

I won't be on until later in the afternoon to confirm either way.

You have to be Honored to get the last Beast Quest items like the minion & mount. After that, you do the final Quests from GC in Gridania to get all the new minions from the other Beast Quests once you become Allied to all Beasts.
