what kind of an increase did you expect for 5 item levels? It's a 4.5% increase so +3 points would be the max, and it is what you get if you don't go far over the point thresholds. Keep in mind that those thresholds are only 'important' at this particular stage and as the item level increases it should normalize a bit more.

Not to worry, everyone gets the same core stats like weapon damage, str/int/mnd, etc. Having a point less than someone else in a secondary stat shouldn't make any difference. Just enjoy having an uber weapon.

You are actually still getting the same stat increase. The threshold is just for the number to round up by 1.

Your stat may only look like it went up by 1, but actually it went up by 1.222 + .888, ect. The stat wont show though unless you hit enough for it to actually round up.

It's very similar to str parry "tiers" . there are no tiers its just SE won't show you a decimal amount, even though they exist in game. Hope this makes you feel better.

It didn't take a time machine to realize during Novus building that jamming 4 different secondaries on a weapon was probably a bad idea. Especially for PLD where you have the shield to worry about as well. It looks like you couldn't decide if you wanted to make it a DPS Curtana or a full blown tanking Curtana so you tried to hybridize. Parry and DET all the way. If DET prices scare you then you stop DET after Tier IIIs and fill it in temporarily with accuracy since you can replace them later on. Or just do Parry and Accuracy if you want a bit of future proofing. Parry and Acc. Tier IVs aren't nearly as bad as DET and Crit.

Its not a bad idea, he gets the same increases as everyone else. It's a flat % increase. You just don't see the number increase because you are at 1.889 so it wont show 2 for example
