An "IC/RP" status would be nice to have!

Hello dear Devs, Mods and players!

First off I'd like to thank the developers for adding "Roleplaying" to the list of a Free Company's focuses. It's really nice to be able to recognize fellow roleplaying free companies!

Obviously this is not a must have, but I just wanted to forward an idea/request that I and other roleplayers would love to see implemented to the list of statuses a player can set (I'm talking about the status feature that includes Away From Keyboard, Busy, etc.).

I love to be able to tell when a player is on Duty Finder queue or on Party Finder thanks to the icons that appear to the left of their name, it is a very useful clue.

And that's why I think an "In Character" or "Roleplaying" status icon would surely help us roleplayers find each other more easily, and also to avoid some mishaps such as trying to roleplay with someone who maybe is just chilling on a chair without intending to RP !

I do not roleplay 100% of the time, and I feel actually bad when someone approaches me to RP when I'm not in the mood/have enough time to roleplay along with them. A status icon could avoid instances such as these too, don't you think?

Again, not a "make or break", but I thought I'd at least pop the suggestion in case no one considered it at SE. Thanks for your time!

I think this would be a cool addition. Would like to see the "mentor" icon from FFXI return as well.

Yes! That would be a great addition as well. I could see people looking up Mentors to form Learning parties for raids as well.

As a casual RP'er sometimes I wanna RP and other times I don't and often I got sorta pulled into RP when I really wasn't feeling up to it (grrr I just wanna craft today!) If I could have a icon letting other RP'ers know I was OOC that night I'd be a happy camper.

I support both the "In-Character/RP" icon and the Mentor icon from FFXI. Those are both awesome ideas.

Yep, and it would be neat if this status could also be used for the Search function, similar to Looking for Party in FFXI. Though right now I'd just be happy with a visible icon!

I support this too. I think it would be nice for the rpers to have. Lets others know when the show's about to start too. *doesn't rp in this game but likes to listen to others*
