Crossfire should work much better with DX11 since you can actually utilize the extra VRAM. Where as most of these problems come from DX9 and a 32bit application.

Try Disabling HDR and SSAO... Alot fewer hiccups and lag spikes while in CFX. I'll have to assume either the driver/profile is broken, and doesn't know how to process
them properly(splitting calculation between the cards instead of just running off one?/more work to split and then output?). I also had to make a new profile to get somewhat near the frames I used to get and solve "some"
frame runting(jittery/dropped frames/uneven, almost laggy despite frames over 100+), by enabling Optimize 1x1, everything else is application setting/standard.
