    Gatherer's fatigue warning system

The "secret gathering fatigue" is not so much a secret these days. The community reps were nice enough to explain what it is and how it worked. The problem I run into time and again, while attempting to level these classes, is that I have no way to expect when or if my game play will be halted do to it. It's proven exceptionally difficult to plan around.
I've found myself suiting up, clearing room for inventory, footing a great distance to a camp, and using up what little guardian's favour I have remaining, only to find out that it is all to be in vain. It's a quite frustrating. Especially if you are a steady player.

I understand that the fatigue is here to stay, and I won't argue to that. But it would a twelve-sent to have some sort of warning status that we are at or about to hit the gathering lock out so that we may adjust our plans accordingly.

Could be as simple as a repurposed fatigue system warning, or even better a nice visual debuff icon so that I know that my planned excursion will be fruitless and I may join in a different activity Eorzea has to offer.

    Thank you, to anyone reading.

I agree. Even though the leveling fatigue system has been removed, it would be nice to know when I hit the currently invisible gathering fatigue wall.

I agree. like while fishing you receiving "You started noticing less fishes around." every time it goes up until an "You're can't notice fishes around anymore."

Also, if fatigue reaches this point would be nice an warning instead of the "Nothing bites."...like "Nothing bites...and seems not will for a while." so they players know when they reached their limit and that its to stop.

I'd prefer just a straight out info dump such as you have xxx/250 gathering attempts remaining. Why not make it transparent. It isn't like this impacts RMT with their army of mules to pick up where the fatigued left off. Legit players have the right to know if they are wasting their time.

Doesn't affect me yet but this seems like a very valid argument and some good ideas. +1.

I disagree with this approach. When I go out and do manual labor IRL, I don't think to myself "Well, I've already pulled out 13 weeds, I will be too tired to pull weeds after 62 more." Instead it's a more gradual "Wow! That sun is hot!", then a "I'm getting a little tired..." which proceeds to a "Man, I could use some lemonade!" and finally to "I'm tired I'll finish this tomorrow."

Although from a programming point of view there will be numbers associated with these events, I think it provides a more realistic and enjoyable feel to not have the number directly in your face.

While I think of it, the number of total mining/logging/fishing attempts could be related to an attribute like vitality...or something related to patience for fishing.
