You have yet to complete the faction levequests necessary...

I have a question on faction leves that I'm hoping someone here can help with. I've got 1000 points in all three factions, so I started trying to take the special leves to work up to tier 3. However, every time I pick one it says "You have yet to complete the faction levequests necessary to participate in the available quests". I get charged points and I get the leve, but it stays in the list and doesn't seem to get replaced with anything on the next reset. They all cost 100 points so I assume they're tier 1 leves.

Anyone know what I'm missing here? I think I'm going to stop spending points until I can figure out what's going on. I don't know why it gives me that warning after my points have already been charged either (>.<) If I haven't completed some prerequisite then they shouldn't even show up in my list in the first place.

I'm not sure about these leves, cuz I just did the Special ones.

When you reach lv. 40 (I think) another option will appear as Special Operation (I think it was the name). There would be 1 Faction there that costs 300 points. When you finish that one, the Tier 2 of Special Operation will appear, and when that one is finished, the last one pops up.

That Last one is the Boss one.
Once you did the Tier 1 and 2, you don't need to repeat it, so you can do the Last one again, If you have points.

P.D: I don't remember If these were the points needed for the Tier 1 and 2 Special Factions.

I'm rank 50 and am just doing the special faction leves. They all cost 100 points so I assume they are Tier 1, but I get that warning message after I take any of them. After I accept and complete the Tier 1 it remains in the list on the next reset, so I'll never see a Tier 2 or 3 until I can figure out what these 'necessary faction leve quests' are that it's referring to.

Maybe I'm the only one getting this warning message? Everyone I've talked to who has done them followed the same procedure as me, yet nobody else has seen it. It doesn't make any sense to me. The only thing I can think of is that I helped someone else with a Tier 3 before taking any of my own. Maybe my character got bugged somehow.

I'm getting this message, too, when I sign up. I just hit 45, and I was offered both "Operation: Bloody Scales" and "Operation: Wolfsbane". I signed up for the first one, and thinking it had rejected my request (because of the same error you're getting), I tried the second one. I haven't completed them yet, but we'll see what happens. (I guess I'll try to make sure that I complete them in order.)

Also, for Azeyma's Shields, it's offering "Special Mission - Wanted: Tarbh Uisge"... but when I open it up, it signs me up for "Wanted: Soft Evidence" (the 2nd one in the series). I'm guessing this is a bug, so I'm going to report it.

Note: Forgive the error above. Typing on too little sleep... but there still seems to be an issue.

IIRC "Wanted: Soft Evidence" is the first one in the Tarbh Uisge Faction NM series.
Also, so you know, Bloody Scales and Wolfsbane are for different FNM and are unrelated to each other.

For Tarbh Uisge it goes: "Wanted: Soft Evidence" -> "Wanted: Violent Verdure" -> "Wanted: Mammoth and Master"

You need to finish the leve before you can pick up the next one in the series.
Once you finish the tier 1 you should be able to get the tier 2 leve, and once you do that you should be able to get the NM one.
The next one appears in the same section where you picked up the tier 1 leve, so after you finish "Soft Evidence" go back to where you picked it up and "Violent Verdure" should be available to pick up.

@YUGON, You need to be rank 45 to get these now, it used to be rank 40 before 1.18.

If you do just do them.
Also, you didn't happen to have already used up all 8 of your leves by chance? because these leves still go towards the total 8 you can do each cycle.

Even when I sign up for "Operation: Bloody Scales" and "Wanted: Soft Evidence", I get the error. Also, if I'm selecting things out of order, why is it signing me up, docking points, and giving an error?

No, I only had 2 leves in my journal at the time. I signed up for all 3 it offered, so now I have 5. Each of the 3 faction leves offered gave the same error message quoted by the OP, but that didn't stop it from signing me up and docking points.

Well if they're in your journal, have you tried to start them?
The only thing i would have worried about is if they didn't go into your journal, or if you tried to start the leve and it didn't allow you to.
If you can start the leve then there should be nothing to worry about.
