Little lost myself.

Was trying for a green and ended up with a brown. Finally got to Moss Green, but after another feeding (hoping to darken up a bit) I went to Acorn Brown. Fed 4 Apples and a Berry to get a feather message. Then fed 5 pineapples and got no message. Currently waiting on results.

Any suggestions? All the differing opinions is really confusing.

So how do I make a white Chocobo?

Going off the RGB colour sliders, the colour white is achieved by getting as close to 255 in all colours (RED, GREEN, and BLUE). To achieve this you will need to feed your chocobo an equal amount of the types of food which say they LIGHTEN a colour (RED, GREEN or BLUE). That way, only one colour's sliders moves toward 0, while the other two move toward 255.

Now keep in mind your Chocobo starts at Desert Yellow which naturally has a higher Green and Red starting value, this means you'll want to feed him more fruit that increases the blue colour value initially.

That is not really true. From the default color i only fed my chocobo the doman plum. Needed it to grow new feathers 2x and now my chocobo is snow white. Either there are some special ways to reach certain colors or something doesn't add up in the theory.

I keep going back and forth between ink blue and deepwood green. Any idea how to get soot black from deepwood green?

How'd you get Goobue? That's what I want. I went Desert Yellow>gobbie brown>ash grey>corpse blue -_-
All by berries and all off first proc. Don't get why I'm skipping over so many colors?

I unfortunately followed the recipe for ink blue 24 apples, 28 pears, 39 berries and got ochu green. added 12 apples and recieved raisin brown; how do I get to Ink Blue from here? Alternatively if it would be easier to get to soot black from here that would be nice too.

I've been reading a bit through this and playing around with colors on my Choco. I could use some help getting him from colibri pink to grape purple.

Any advice in regards to getting the correct color? I went by the google spreadsheet as I am trying to get Dalamud Red, fed all the fruit and waited six hours and got Olive Green

Can someone guide me as to what to feed to get it to Dalamud Red from Olive Green?

i got ochu green, how do i get soot black from here?

now i fed him 10 fruits to get rid of some of the green, 5 apples to get rid of some of the blue and 5 plums to get rid of some of the red... but ive been in circles so not sure how this will turn out :X
